I recently returned from Siwa, I want to write my opinion, maybe this will help you decide. I am not an interested person, I have been traveling to Turkey and Egypt for about 15 years several times a year, so there is something to compare with and what to advise you. In the end, I was very pleased with the rest, in the first days I experienced stress, and then, in contrast, I really appreciated the merits of the hotel.

THE BAD: If you are interested in staying at the Siva Sharm Hotel, you may be confused by the diametrically opposite reviews of vacationers - very bad and very good. I think I understand this paradox. According to the number of rooms, the number of guests in the hotel and the service, there can be both a very bad picture and a very good one. They can settle you (or rather, they really will initially settle) in an old distant (or internal) building with a dead air conditioner, TV, and a bunch of mosquitoes that have been living in this room for a long time before you. In the hotel in the first days, I really felt a tough struggle for tables and saw both queues for entering the canteen, and queues already inside for a portion of salad, for example, or in general for all the food in the queue, everyone is served meagerly and the effect of a struggle for survival is created. I concluded that the distribution tables are not properly organized, for example, there is only one hot place, there is a queue at one point, updates are brought, and naglyuks climb from above without a queue. Plus, the hotel is going through waves of check-in, and at that time there really was a full house, to which the administration did not respond.

Probably the most important thing in this kind of risky tours (like choosing a Siva Sharm hotel) is the right attitude towards positive, and a little luck. My opinion was initially so negative that after the first night spent in the hotel, mosquitoes buzzing, I seriously tuned in to storm the managers of the joint up with a requirement through a surcharge to relocate to another hotel.
Everything that they write is true: the old room stock, the air conditioner and the TV without a remote control do not work, there is no refrigerator, a long and dreary check-in (by the way, I use my own approach to this: I immediately drop my suitcases at the entrance, change into swimming trunks and go swimming and sunbathing) queues at the canteen, diluted coffee and wine, mosquitoes living in the room, angry bartenders, drunken screams at night. So to say, for the most not big money for a tour compared to other fives and even fours, you get the corresponding result.
GOOD: The next day I decided not to panic and turn the situation around. An additional 20 bucks for a superior room, and lo and behold - you can find yourself on the 7th-8th floor with a panoramic (splendid) sea view, the hotel area is really large and well-groomed (see photo), you can avoid the queue for food if you come clearly to start and book a table with the item of your wardrobe (and when there is no influx of vacationers, in general, everything is normal in the canteen). There are no mosquitoes on the upper floors, everything in my room was clean, comfortable and worked.
The reef, if from the hotel facing the sea to the left side, is generally reserved (Yesterday I sailed 200 m from Panton along the reefs and for the first time in my life saw a manta (a large black stingray) they say there is a harmless reef shark.
The hotel mainly accommodates Ukrainians, less Kazakhs (in my opinion very calm and friendly people) and not pronounced Russians and Europeans.
In bars, they really pour beer, tonic from cans, but this is good, they open a can in front of you, you drink a hygienic, factory-made product, and you can come up as long as you have enough strength. The water in the sea at the end of April is not yet hot, the heat is not yet sizzling . .
In general, I want to sum up I AM SATISFIED WITH THE HOLIDAY!

The last days I just enjoyed everything: I made friends with all the bartenders and beach fights, in the morning I sunbathed on the 2nd tier of the beach, in the afternoon (when the hot heat begins) I went to the upper grassy lawn under mushrooms. The sea is clean and has a good reef. The territory is large, well-groomed and green. The hotel has a good architectural base, a good overall layout and location. In the evenings, you can quite comfortably spend time at the central bar - there are musicians and animation.
Yes, there are many problems in the first place in the organization of the service. But with the right attitude and a little extra budget, you can get your own paradise for half the price. I will very much come back here again. Price-quality in favor of quality.
