I went for the first time, so there were no super-expectations, super-requests - too.
In short: the hotel wants to appear as a five, but it is not. If you are not picky about food, want to see a very steep reef, prefer a quiet holiday without animation and do not have the largest budget, then the hotel is more than suitable. Otherwise, I would think so.
Next in order:
We arrived from the airport at 8 am, but they did not want to check us in until 12, neither for persuasion, nor for money. A very strange story, considering that the hotel was not even half full.
Naturally, no one offered to eat in the morning, BUT you can safely go to the canteen on your own and not wait for permission. No one will check the bracelets.

They settled us after 12 and for a chocolate bar they gave us a room directly with access to the pool on the first floor. The porter (which others have already written about in the reviews), just extremely brazenly begged for a chocolate bar even after a dollar, which left a sediment.
The room itself was not bad, but tired, like the rest of the hotel as a whole. There is mold in the bathroom, a broken floor lamp in the room, the light did not work on the balcony, the conder was very dusty. The rest is plus or minus normal. Do not forget to take soap, shampoos, etc. with you, because there will be nothing in the bathroom except towels and toilets.
Cleaning took place around 2:00 pm. Hearts and the like, of course, the change of towels and in general the pointing of the nix was not bad, except for the moments with the number above. We were treated to a chocolate bar and a couple of dollars for 6 days.
The hotel itself is not bad from a distance, but the age is visible in the little things. There something is broken off, there it is smeared, there it is already erased by age. The hotel area is quite large and green, but that's it. No tables, no hammocks - just green wastelands with bushes, grass and flowers, so everyone hangs out only in the center and near the bars.
The central pool is normal, there is a paddling pool, polo and water aerobics in the morning. The exits from the pools are not the most convenient, there were not enough ladders in different parts. There is a bar in the center where you can order directly from the pool.
There are also three or four swimming pools scattered over the floors near the rooms without a sea view.
The fountain on the central pool did not work : (
Swimming is only allowed until sunset and at evening parties.
There are very few sun loungers and with a small population it was not easy to find a free one both by the pool and on the beach. What can we say about the high season.
The beach is rocky with a pontoon and a small paddling pool. For an amateur (I like more sandy).
The sea in the bay just do without waves, clean and warm. Just perfect for those who like to snorkel. You can only swim from morning to evening.

One of the main advantages of the hotel is the reef. If you like to see fish there, corals, etc. , then this place is definitely worth a visit. You can take the scuba service separately, but it will cost $ 30.
Bars on the beach are open from the opening until the closing of the pool and there is one 24-hour inside. Alcohol only until 24-00 and then only in the morning. The alcohol itself is brulyulu of a local spill. Feels like alcohol flavored with gin, whiskey, etc.
The food is extremely fresh, not salty, without any spices. There were days when it was a very good choice, but it happened when you took pasta with tomato sauce (the only sauce with the right taste), threw chopped cucumbers with tomatoes and went to the table for 5 minutes to salt and pepper. Meat, sausages, sausages, beef cutlets - none. Cheese - none. All sorts of lasagna and so on without taste. Coffee - instant makkofe. Sweet jelly - some kind of sugary starch, well, or I don’t know. Sauces other than tomato sauce.
But it is not all that bad. Fresh juice straight bimba (but 2 dollars), took every day. Everything related to their national cuisine is also ZBS. Fish in various forms, grilled chicken and not only, KEBAB was twice - a real feast of taste, potatoes are normal, eggs in the morning, fresh pita bread from the stove, pancakes and waffles, local honey, all sorts of puff sweets like baklava, a couple of times the confectionery is not bad was, oranges - bimba, melon, fresh dates.
To sum up the canteen, then you need to try everything a little bit and look for suitable dishes. At first it was not easy, but then I somehow got used to it and it was ok.
But if you love fine dining, then you're in trouble. Even in the restaurant, everything is extremely mediocre and without gastronomic delights in terms of taste.
The gym was "under renovation", although there was nothing happening for all seven days of stay. When asked to at least drag dumbbells, they said - nit.

As a separate item I will note the stink mentioned by many others. Either the water is not purified so stinks, or it is such a pesticide, but it bzdit right up to vomit. Therefore, it will be difficult to open the window at night, especially for those who have a room with access to the grass. We only stank by the pool a couple of times, but that was enough.
Overall, the staff left a positive impression. The cleaner is friendly, in restaurants and bars, guys like electric brooms fly back and forth, trying, and I don’t know how else they manage to be smiling, and so on. For treats or a dollar or two, you will have a personal waiter, in principle))
You can walk to the sokha in 10 minutes. Without 50-100 dollars in your pocket, there is nothing to do there, because there are only shops, prices are high, and besides this, there is nothing else there. You can just explore the quarter in 15-20 minutes. Therefore, no beads are needed.
Tours are up to you. I went on a tour for $ 75 on a bus to a neighboring city. There riding on quadrics, camels, diving and half an hour of the local market. So it's not worth the money. Camels are like camels, quad bikes are just trash, and diving will be good if you're lucky with an instructor. As for unwinding, it's not bad, but as a tour - very dull. The rest, I don't know.
Animation is unobtrusive at minimum. but it won't be boring : )
If you have a very light sleep, then it is better to take rooms that are at the very end of the hotel (near the pizza bar). Because all these night discos, karaoke, etc. are extremely well carried along all the corridors and are especially cool for those whose windows overlook the central pool or a bar near the reception. Until 24-00 there will be tutstuts and no sleep.
If you suddenly feel unwell, it is better not to wait for the situation when you are completely unbearable, because it takes 15-20 minutes to get to the local hospital at full speed, and you also need to accept an application to the insurance, call a car, etc. Learn it.
And I can also note that there were very few Russians, which had a positive effect on the silence and tranquility around))
Looks like I didn't forget anything.
