We went to Egypt for the first time. There were two of us, me and my boyfriend. We chose the hotel for a long time, consulted with friends, read reviews... In the end, we chose La Vite and did not regret it!
ARRIVAL:
We flew to charm somewhere at 11 am (instead of the promised 9 am. In Domodedovo, the flight was delayed for about an hour). The transfer was only to our hotel.
The hotel is very beautiful, a lot of greenery, flowers... Light, a lot of glass.
The hotel is located in a shark bay. And therefore there were almost no winds.
The staff is pleasant, not annoying, not asking for money... not arrogant... they speak Russian. Well, not very well, but in any case we understood each other!
At the reception, they immediately put on bracelets, but with the settlement they said they would have to be patient... until 15:00!
But as soon as the disappointed people dispersed to walk around the hotel, we went to the reception and they gave us room 5207!
NUMBERS:
This is the fifth two-story building overlooking the pool and the sea. The only thing in this building in all rooms is 2 beds! We asked for a room with a double bed but they didn't give us one. We didn't give money. We decided not to be capricious. Moreover, there are such beds... 1.60cm by 2 meters!
We didn't even move them. They slept on one bed, and put things on the other!
The room is quite big, bright and pretty. In blue tones.
2 soft chairs, a table in the room and 2 chairs and a plastic table on the balcony.
The TV showed 2 Russian channels: ORT and RTR planet (they played one series), a music channel, cartoons...
There was a refrigerator, such as a mini bar. If desired, and for money, you could ask the reception to fill the mini bar!
The bath is a different story: a curtain, tiles and plumbing screwed into the wall (albeit very good). Moreover, there was no rim, and therefore, when you wash yourself, the water is not only in the bathtub, but throughout the room. The flood was at every wash. They asked the cleaning boy to clean the drain. . . as if he cleaned it. . . the floods became a little less, but they still happened! But, in principle, this is not a disaster : )) They say that this is normal in Egypt.
Gels, shampoos, cap, soap. . . everything is included! Fan is awesome.
Towels: 5 pieces.
The room was cleaned every day by the same young man. We left a dollar every day and everything was fine.
Once they did not leave and immediately missed one towel. We knew who the cleaner was. . . We told him about the towel and he immediately brought it and apologized.
Immediately check the availability of a kettle, coffee, tea, mugs... This should be included in every room. We somehow don’t like tea and coffee, and therefore we didn’t focus on this. There’s no kettle, and no... But the day before departure, they still brought it to us... why only, we still didn’t understand!
Here read the reviews: in no case do not take a number if it starts with the number 6 !!!
And why panic. . . ? Normal numbers. Absolutely the same as we have in building 5 or 3... There is no construction nearby, a view of the courtyard and the pool... Quiet and calm!

The main restaurant is where we ate. They feed to kill. From 5 am to midnight. Buffet, don't want to eat!
Omelettes, pancakes, cereals, cakes, pastries, cape, fish, chicken, pasta, potatoes, fruit. . .
From drinks: wines, cocktails, juices (such as yuppies and zucco), Coca-Cola...
Yummy! It was impossible to leave hungry! The food was for every taste!
Bars at every step. Pieces 5 on the beach, near the pools and 2 in the hotel. From 11 am they serve drinks and fruits (oranges, tangerines, dates, apples, melon, bananas. . . ), and from 13:00 pizza, vegetables, meat, potatoes. . . In a word, a light snack!
There are also paid restaurants: Asian, barbecue and seafood. We decided to visit a seafood restaurant. Soup (a la ear) was pretty tasty. We ordered white wine. It was just amazing, very tasty.
And then they brought a large plate: there were colmars (just awful), crabs (very tasty), some kind of fish fillet (very tasty) and some other target children (so-so) on it. Dessert was peeled and chopped fruit, delicious.
We liked the food very much... only the fourth day was already boring!
ENTERTAINMENT: there are animators. They speak all languages. Not intrusive. They stick around 2-3 times and move on to others. Well, in general, they are funny, they joke, they dance... they hold all sorts of competitions, aerobics, belly dancing... beach volleyball, football...
There are performances in the evening. We've only been to one! Pretty much fun! They wanted to go to others, but it didn’t work out.
They entertained themselves.
You have to go to the old and new city somewhere at 5 pm. There was nothing to do there before!
Old city. Bazaar! Mostly fruits, stakes, tea. . . We bought strawberries for 1 dollar/kilogram, but we have to go to the very end of the bazaar. At the beginning, 6 dalars per kilogram. Hibiscus tea, I advise!
We also went to the New City: there are already cafes, souvenirs, discos...
Traveling from the hotel is very expensive. For example, to the old city they take 17 dollars there + 17 dollars back + 6 dollars for each hour of waiting. You will be in the city for at least 2 hours. Time flies unnoticed.
We took a taxi to the old city. It cost us 20 dollars round trip for four + he waited for us for 2 hours.
And in the new city, we decided to ride on a free bus. We were shocked. The recording was made in a day, at 6 am at the reception. Well, it was not a problem to sign up, we got up early.
Departure day: we brought 2 jeeps to the hotel. And instead of 4 people, 8 people were put into each car, like a herring in a barrel! Horror! Terrible and captivating word freebie!!! ! We went back by taxi. 8 dollars for four, a foreign car, air conditioning... beauty.
It's better to take a taxi... It's better to pay!
The gym is free! We went once... but rest is rest, we decided not to strain ourselves!

Friends went to the SPA salon itself for SPA programs... they were disappointed! Then they did only individual massages!
BEACH, POOLS, SEA:
Beaches: we always occupied sunbeds immediately after breakfast, this is around 8-8:30 in the morning. Later there were already problems! But they were also solvable. You could ask a hotel worker. Free sunbeds. . .

The entrance to the sea is from 2 main plastic pantones, 1 wooden panton is old and there are 2 illegal entries.
