Read reviews about the hotel, looked at the photos. . . LIKE like nothing. And really nothing. . . good)))) Well, what can I say? Today we arrived in Sharm El Sheikh "hotel" Sol Y Mar Riva World 5 *. We are actually SHOCKED! The hotel has several buildings. They settled us in the Beach building (I just want to write Bitch). Sorry for the humor, we're just from Odessa (if it weren't for the humor, you would immediately want to cry here). And so in order. . . At the entrance, of course, there is a metal detector that squeaks even at small children and a cleaner with a broom (maybe he has a gun in his pocket? ). True, at the entrance to the right there is immediately a bar counter, but they don’t pour it right away))) At the reception, I met a friendly young man. The number was issued quickly (just in case, they gave him $ 10) and did the right thing. They gave me a number. The view from the window is good, BUT there are two separate beds in the room and there is a black imprint of someone's hand on the wall above the bed. The room is as in the photo, but without the participation of photoshop (shabby furniture, black seams on the tiles and a little dirty bed). To our indignation about separate beds, two beds with a slight movement of the hand of a hotel employee turned into one. We imagined that at night this bed could also easily turn back into two (and we would end up on the floor), we ran back to the reception. There we learned that rooms with a solid bed are given only by pull. Blat is not expensive - $ 5. Moved. Things were brought to the room, but they were offended by a tip of $ 1 and we were brazenly told what to add. We scattered our things and went to lunch. At lunch: 1 kind of soup, rice, pasta, potatoes, chicken, egg salad (suspicious smell), vegetable salad (tomatoes are clearly sour) and generally very poor. We were assured that there was not enough of everything, because tomorrow is the new year and all products are saved for tomorrow. What is a martini, baileys, campari, etc. , no one knows at all. Dinner upset even more: half of the dishes were leftovers from lunch (but we won’t gain extra pounds))) We reserved a table for tomorrow’s New Year’s dinner (we were immediately offered to buy a bottle of carbonated wine for $50). We kindly declined (long live DUTY FREE!!! ). Tomorrow we will write about the continuation of our "inexpensive" vacation (although the money, in my opinion, is not small).
