Hello!
I would like to share my impressions about my vacation in Egypt (Sharm El Sheikh) at the Sonesta Club Hotel.
Was there from April 28 to May 8.2012 (11 days).
The hotel has 2 types of rooms: with a view of the pool and cellars (no windows).
If you want a room overlooking the pool, you have to pay an additional $15 per night.
Basements of 2 types: a view of a construction site or a view of another hotel. Take a look at another hotel.
In the rooms overlooking the pool, noise is heard + in the morning at 3:30 an Arab yells into the wheelhouse, calling on "their" to pray. This op is heard even if the balcony is closed.
The rooms are old. Housekeeping is poor, sheets were never changed. The floors were washed 1 time after we asked.
The territory is beautiful, many pools, water slides, there is animation, much better than in Sonesta Beache 5 *.
Many of the 5 * came to our pools and animators.
Animators are nothing. Uninteresting, boring, sloppy.

The staff at the hotel is cultural, with the exception of the waiters, who have rude jokes.
The food is monotonous, sometimes there was delicious beef and duck.
Beach. You have to walk across the road, 10 minutes through the Sonesta Beache 5 * hotel.
The beach itself is 15 meters long. I have never seen such horror. You are allowed to go swimming on Gafy 4* beach. There is a great beach, you can even see corals.
There are few people in the hotel and on the beach, which somehow alleviated the situation.
A lot of flies, poison them every evening at 18:30 with some kind of smoke.
Representatives of Tez Tour liked it. Thank you! Cultural, polite.
We went on an excursion to Jerusalem for 1 day. $130 via Tez Tour. Safe, secure.
The tour is rich, difficult, interesting.
The tour guide is good except for shopping.
When you go to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher on the way in front of the temple, buy "33 candles" on the market for $ 1, the required amount and immediately consecrate everything in the temple. In the temple, the same candles cost $3. The guide offers to buy 1 candle in the temple, consecrate, and the rest in his recommended shop also for $ 1, but after visiting the temple.
You will be taken to only one souvenir shop (in which our guide has a rollback) very expensive. Buy magnets, etc. when you walk from the bus to the places of the excursion.
We went on quads for $25 and to Ras Mohammed for $40. Normal excursions, the corals are beautiful, but I saw more fish near the hotel. The swimming instructors were excellent.
Went to the Old City for shopping, safe. On their tuk tuk pay 1.5 pounds per person, on a taxi haggle for $ 3 for everyone.
Again I would not come to this hotel.
If you want a hotel in Naama, look at the Hilton 4* and 5*, Mariot 4* and 5*, Tropicana Roseta 4*. I was told that the price is like Sonesta, and the service is better.
You decide! Have a nice rest!
