Good day to all. Many people have long been tired of celebrating the New Year in Moscow, and we decided to replace 10 days of drunkenness, gluttony, dull weather with the sun, the sea... We decided to go to Egypt in a 4 * hotel, all-inclusive. Friends advised me to go to Naamu Bay, so that I could not only sit in the hotel, but also walk along the promenade, go shopping and cafes... In mid-October, it turned out that many hotels were already sold out, and I had to choose from what was left...
We chose the Sonesta Club, As a result, together with the New Year's dinner and the fuel surcharge, 56.700 rubles came out for two! This is about twice as expensive as usual. . . It was my first trip abroad, and in general I had not been on vacation for several years, so the remaining two and a half months I was very worried.
Omitting the details, I’ll say right away - we got to the hotel on time and almost without incident, except for the fact that visas at the airport were sold to us for $ 20 instead of 15, and a very long wait for luggage. We arrived at the hotel at lunchtime. After reading the reviews, we immediately put $ 20 in our passports and asked for a room closer to the reception and always on the second floor. As a result, we got a great room next to the restaurant overlooking the pool bar and a large balcony. The weather reminded me of the Moscow Indian summer - during the day it is warm in the sun, but the breeze is refreshing, it gets dark early and already after four you need to put on jeans and a sweater.

We swam in the pool and in the sea - the water is warm, it’s just cool to go in and out, you have to dry yourself right away. I won’t say anything new about the beach - as they say, it is. You can enter without special slippers (we never bought them), but it’s calmer with slippers. There are no corals near the beach, and I didn’t swim far, but there are plenty of fish! Very beautiful! Sunbeds need to be occupied early in the morning - after 10 it is unrealistic to find a free place. We went to the beach through the sonesta beach - 15 minutes at a calm pace, but in the summer it will probably be hard in the heat...
We went to ride in the desert on quad bikes, and on an excursion to the Ras Muhamed reserve on coral reefs. We did not go to Cairo - there was so little time... Everything is very interesting!
Separately, I want to say about the New Year's dinner. We didn't expect anything special, but in fact everything was just great! A huge amount of food, a show program, only with alcohol it was not enough. Therefore, do not pass duty free! ))) And in the evenings we walked along Naama - there are a lot of shops, cafes... a favorite tale of local merchants: "I just opened my store, come to me, I'll show you what I have I have and I will make a gift" Almost everyone there speaks Russian and always immediately determines your nationality. Therefore, on the first day, do not buy any souvenirs - it’s better to take a closer look for a couple of days, go to the old city... A taxi from Sonesta to Naama costs 20 pounds for four, we went to the old city for 30 pounds. On the last day we went to a hard rock cafe - probably not bad for Egypt, but a little expensive and very American.
In general, the impressions about the rest and about the hotel are very good! A week of summer in the middle of winter!
