To begin with, this hotel has disadvantages, but they can only be called disadvantages in comparison with Dubai or Turkish premium hotels.
And against the background of Egyptian hotels, there are only pluses. Every day shrimps, cheeses, mango fresh juices, well-mannered staff - there is no familiarity from the staff in the style: - "hey friend like dila" and they don't beg for tips. Big tennis, sauna, spa, mini football, everything is free, included.
Entry into the sea is only through a pontoon, almost a kilometer to go, and there are no seas, waves, near the coast. Not for sea lovers), there are many pools. This is a serious minus, but on Nabka Bay it is almost everywhere, and in Sharm itself, closer to the old city, where the entry to the sea is closer, there are no good hotels. In the same two Rixos hotels, the same problem - as they are nearby on Nabq
Better than this hotel in Egypt, I think only Rixos Premium Seagate, everything is somehow bigger there, I can compare it with it.

Alcohol is the main disadvantage compared to Rixos. If in Rixos you can drink 12 or 18-year-old whiskey of the coolest brands, Sheridans and Baileys liqueurs and everything is free, then here, not only elite, just imported alcohol will not be poured for free. Only local, but it is not like that, of course, although it is considered good by Egyptian standards. From 150-200 grams of rum, I was dry all night, as if I had drunk half a liter : )).
The remaining disadvantages are relative, not important for everyone:
- interruption in some areas of the hotel with Wi-Fi authorization (but it still depends on the phone),
- the food, as I said, is excellent, but the fruits were unripe, except for grapes and apples, they didn’t eat anything from fruits, but maybe because it’s winter and off season... steaks in the central restaurant are fried like that, it’s better to dine in alacarte restaurants, it tastes better there are preparing.
- cars go every 15 minutes, you won’t wait (in Rixos every 2 minutes, they didn’t go on foot in the heat),
- there is no water park like in Rixos (and there it is with extreme slides and without queues),
- the children's room is small and wretched here.
Pros:
- a newer hotel, rooms, more modern design, in Rixos some buildings are a little shabby, everything is new here.
- it really makes sense to visit a la carte restaurants here in the evenings instead of having dinner at the central restaurant. The dishes are tastier, more exclusive, and not stupidly bring the same dishes from the central restaurant, embellishing them a little as it was in Rixos when we visited one of the alacarte restaurants. Just be careful, check in these restaurants whether you need to pay extra for certain dishes, otherwise I foolishly ordered a lobster (it turned out that a lobster is a lobster) in a salad with pineapples, I had to pay $ 20 extra, which is basically inexpensive, but still unpleasant a surprise, especially considering that this seafood here is already overeating for free. And you just can’t relax - you have to think about what to order, not all inclusive. But this is Egypt, you can’t completely relax, even in such a hotel...
- everything is quiet and calm here, an amphitheater with movements and music on the edge of the hotel so as not to disturb the residents, and not noise and a disco by the pool as in other hotels near the residents' rooms.

We visited the SPA - everything is very stylish, brand new, modern design, 3 large jacuzzis, 2 saunas and one Roman steam room. True, they heat very weakly, you won’t take a steam bath especially, rather purely for relaxation.
Tennis courts and a football field are always free - play for free as much as you like, but when the sun goes down - you have to pay extra for lighting, and the sun sets very early in Egypt.
To be completely objective, it must be taken into account that the difference in the cost of these two hotels is about $ 400 for a weekly vacation in favor of the Alcazar. At least now it is.
And another important note - they don’t practice installing mosquito nets on the windows, it seems like a trifle, but at night they didn’t sleep normally because of this. This applies rather to those who are "loved" by mosquitoes. They did not interfere with my wife, but they bit me and the child, from which he did not sleep well and woke us up. The fumigator was brought, but it fills the room with a not very pleasant smell and you still have to air the room in the middle of the night, which is why a couple more new mosquitoes always flew in, then you turn on the light and look for where they can be killed, after that it’s already difficult to fall asleep in the middle of the night. You wake up tired in the morning. The hotel has spent millions on appearance and amenities, but such a flaw does not allow the tourist to sleep well, where to get enough sleep if not on vacation?
So if you choose between these hotels and you are not a connoisseur of expensive alcohol, you will not have children 4-5 years old and older with you, then I see no reason to overpay for Rixos Premium Seagate, you can choose this one
