We rested together from December 15 to December 22.2016. The room was supposed to be standard with a view of the garden. At first, they provided the number 236 (I seem to remember correctly). The room was run down, dusty, as if no one had entered it for a whole year, a safe with a mechanical lock, instead of a key on a rope, a bottle opener was tied to it. Hot water did not wait, although the tap was opened for a long time.
We complained at the reception, after half an hour we were given a wonderful room overlooking the pool and the main restaurant. Lovely room 155, everything was clean in it, plumbing, linen, shampoos were in good condition, everything was on the level, an excellent veranda with chairs - the most for relaxing. Exactly the same room lived at the same time last year at the Iberotel Palace hotel.
The Sultan has a huge well-groomed beautiful territory, 5 good pools with clean water. It was great to walk, flowers, palm trees, beautiful buildings - and the view of the sea and the island of the tyrant - well, just charm!

The food is varied, a lot of vegetables and herbs, various cheeses, yoghurts, and other snacks. From fruits - oranges, grapefruits, melons, dates of two kinds, guava, and a couple of times quince. There was always enough meat and fish products, a variety of side dishes and gravies. In general, the food is on the level.
Wine red and white, poured from cardboard boxes, white was excellent!
Beer of one sort - light, "Pharaoh" - quite decent.
Juices were poured from large containers, strongly diluted to taste. We tried them and didn't drink anymore.
It was necessary to go down to the beach, because. the hotel is on a hill, and it was not difficult to walk back, and you could drive up on open buses that run around the territory on a schedule.
The beach is excellent sandy, the entrance to the water through the corals on a short pontoon and a passage of concrete slabs. But at the end of the passage, the plates were destroyed, so it was necessary to swim over the corals through schools of beautiful fish.
In general, the rest went well, we went on excursions to Soho, and on a yacht trip to Tiran Island, where we dived in scuba gear near the coral massifs (2 times for 10 minutes). The fish population of the corals is amazing - I recommend such a trip, but it takes almost a whole day - we left by bus to the yachts at 9.30 and returned to the hotel around 17.00. The cost of the tour - $ 50 per person, fed 1 time - a plate of rice with 3 pieces of fish.
The rest was a success, everything is more or less normal and excellent, clean, comfortable, friendly polite staff, employees fulfill all requests, excellently polite and friendly waiters.
Of the shortcomings - they seem to be absent, everything is fine and wonderful. But one thing: a friendly maid cleaned the room every day, all the time asking if everything was fine and how you were doing. We always left him $ 1 or a bar of excellent chocolate, and he always greeted us joyfully. But during the rest, he stole my sunglasses (polaroid) and a flashlight. I think the hotel management will read this review and transfer our maid to another job. In general, I recommend staying at this hotel, but do not leave money and good things in the room unattended - they can completely steal.
