This is our first holiday in Egypt, 11.11. 17-18.11. 17. The SULTAN GARDENS hotel was chosen based on the reviews of friends and the recommendations of the travel agency. We have been to Turkey twice before. The hotel is not wow, ordinary but very good.
The food is good, tasty and varied. Ice cream on the beach every day around 10:00 and then another for dinner at the main restaurant. Ice cream Nestle. Turkey cannot be compared. The mini-bar is only filled upon check-in. Tea and coffee set replenished daily free of charge. Worth a visit to the Italian restaurant on site. He delighted us with the range. Tasty. It is worth visiting the hookah bar on site. Interesting and pleasant place. Recommend.
The rooms are a little old, we lived in a family room. The room is old but spacious. Two separate rooms, each with air conditioning and TV. In general, I liked the hotel, we rested with two families with children. 4 adults and 3 children (13.13, 8).

The beach is excellent, the sea is gorgeous, the reef is beautiful, the coral is alive, a lot of colorful fish. The sea is warm, transparent; We rested with a large group, but we never had a problem finding a place on the beach. Always managed to find 5-6 sun loungers nearby and under a canopy!! ! the weather is sunny and warm, very pleasant not sultry. Swimming in the pools was practically non-existent. The sea took all the time. There is one hill.
The mask was bought on the spot for 8 USD. e. Fins, snorkel, corrals (special shoes) brought with them. But everything can be bought there for normal money.
Outside the hotel sell delicious mango.
MINUSES:
*weak WI-FI, but this is a problem for all of Egypt;
* windows without nets, there are mosquitoes (on the street they noticed me, only in the room at night);
* poor cleaning of toilets on the beach and in the lobby;
* outdated rooms and furniture;
* Weak evening shows.
PROS (I'm glad there are more of them):
*good food, fresh fruits, sweets, juices, decent coffee. fish meat, beer, wine you can drink;
* friendly staff (at the request they settled nearby without additional payments and rewards, in the restaurant always with a smile and cordiality);
* spacious family rooms;
* large green landscaped area; you can go to the beach and from the beach by taf-tuff, but we moved on foot without any problems; the territory of the hotel is level, cascading down to the sea;
*there is a volleyball court;
* good illumination of the territory in the evening;

* finding a table in a restaurant for 7 people is not a problem, although it is the season now, two floors of the restaurant are open;
* close to the airport;
* daily cleaning, replenishment of cosmetics, paper; change of towels;
* you can have lunch at the beach bar;
* good water pressure in the room.

ADVIСE :
*filling out the migration card is easy and simple, but you should do it right away by standing in line for passport control, it will be faster;
* a very good excursion from the Anex tour "lost land", I recommend, a sea of ​ ​ ​ ​ impressions;
*buy a waterproof case for your phone for underwater shooting (we bought it locally at the Vodofone store for $4);
* do not take dates home: they deteriorate;
*buy mangoes and take them in your hand luggage, we arrived perfectly;
* take a fumigator;
* I recommend to either buy alcohol at home or in duty free, if there is such a need;
*not interested in Soho;

*if you play table tennis, take your racket: there will always be an opponent, there are tables.

In general, the rest in Egypt in general and in this hotel in particular impressed us all much more than Turkey twice. I recommend the hotel. Egypt and the Red Sea must be seen. By the way, the hotel has an entrance to the sea from the shore, from the pontoon, from the pier. There is a sandy entry for kids and not only. Mango is a must buy. We followed him every day. Brought home in hand luggage in a box. The price is 1 dollar per kg. They let you on the plane. I want to go back to Egypt.
