We were hit during a shark attack - this happened in neighboring hotels - Domina Beach and Desolley. There are no guards or barriers from sharks on our beach and no one has set them up. At first, they didn’t say anything about sharks at all, they said that there was a big wave coming and you couldn’t swim. The hotel staff generally pretends that nothing has happened. The beach is clean, the sand is smooth, the water is also clean, but there is nowhere to swim with a small child, only in a heated pool, on the sea is not realistic.
There is nowhere to go outside the territory, the desert is all around, it gets dark very early. There is no free bus to Naama Bay, it costs 3 dollars, to the old city - 4 dollars, if you want to take a walk, then only in Naama Bay, in the Old City there is dirt, crush, in general it is unpleasant to be there. Do not take change in local currency - then you can’t change it anywhere, immediately demand only dollars. Of the excursions, I took only Jerusalem for 1 day, it’s scary to take the rest because of accidents, the Egyptians drive scary on the roads, even when compared with a trip through Israel. And so, the general opinion is that Egypt with a small child is only in case there is nowhere else to go, Turkey is a more suitable country for such travelers.
