We rested in Sharm for the fourth time, and every year there was more and more disappointment: the level of service fell. But not at this time!
We arrived early in the morning, quickly got our luggage, went through the scanner - and to the bus. The driver carefully helped to place the suitcases. Arrived quickly at the hotel as the airport is nearby. We registered at the reception, we were immediately put on bracelets, invited to breakfast, and literally an hour later it was possible to check in.
We had booked a room with a sea view - everything was as ordered. The double room had two terry bathrobes, two pairs of slippers, hygiene items (shower cap, shampoo, shower gel, high-quality hair conditioner, light body cream, cotton swabs, soap), sets of towels. No mosquitoes and midges. Perfect cleanliness and pleasant smell of coconut. The bar had fanta, sprite, water - in two copies (at check-in - free of charge). There was also an electric kettle, cups, glasses, as well as bags of black, green tea, coffee and dry cream (replenished daily). The view from the balcony is amazing. After a sleepless night and a flight, it seemed that we were in paradise!
The sea in Sharm is magical - clean, gentle. Beautiful reef. To enter the sea, there are two pontoons (stationary on stilts and a fairly stable prefabricated surface with well-tight cables, there is also an underwater path. There is also an area for swimming in shallow water. Attentive, correct and unobtrusive staff on the beach and near the pool. Always greeted with a smile , helped to accommodate comfortably. I was pleased with the area on the beach on the right, where smoking is prohibited. This is a big plus!
Beach towels could be changed as many as you wanted, no restrictions.
The territory of the hotel is quite extensive and well-groomed, a lot of greenery and flowers. Area with steep slopes to the beach and many steps leading up to the lobby and restaurants. But this hotel has its own highlight - scheduled taf-taf! For the elderly and vacationers with children, this is just a godsend.
I want to express special gratitude to the hotel guide from Tez Tour Regab. He solved all issues instantly, he always called the day before the tour, before the trip to Jerusalem he consulted about the passage of the Israeli border, he agreed that three 1.5-liter bottles of water would be brought to our room daily.
I'll make a small digression. Many people argue that excursions from a tour operator are somewhat more expensive than around the corner from a hotel. Well, everyone has their own choice. However, it is worth noting that when buying an excursion on the first day of meeting with a guide, Tez Tour has a 20% discount, and some excursions (for example, around the city) generally come as a bonus. In addition, all trips are covered by insurance. I would like to note the comfortable bus in which we traveled to the border with Israel, the tour was accompanied by a Russian-speaking guide, everything was clear and organized. And on the way back from Taba to Sharm, we were offered a snack on the bus (croissants, juice and water). It was very nice. And at the hotel, the ordered dinner was also waiting for us, but at 4.00 we quickly leaked into the room, since we no longer had the strength to eat. By the way, the tour to Jerusalem cost us $130 per person ($150 in the booklet). So decide for yourself.
Breakfast and dinner - in restaurants on the first and second floors in the lobby. By the way, these restaurants have a children's menu. You can dine in the same place or on the beach - in a French restaurant (buffet), in a pancake or pizzeria. Everywhere courteous waiters, always fresh tablecloths and beautiful serving. The food is excellent (diarrhea pills were not needed this time).
Every evening there is a children's disco and show time. The animators are trying all day: either exercising, or yoga, or belly dance and various activities.
We had a late check-out, however, until the very departure, we could use the Wi-Fi and even had lunch. Our bracelets were not cut off.
When we checked out (at 12.00), the luggage was left at the door of the room, later it was brought on a cargo taf-tuff and then helped to put it on the bus. The hotel also offers a bag wrapping service ($4 medium, $5 large).
Well, we've had an eventful vacation. I would like to note the Russian-speaking staff, high-quality cleaning of the rooms (swans were not twisted, but they were cleaned diligently and carefully, tips were always left). Usually on the fifth day I start to miss home, but this time 11 days flew by in one breath. Oh, just one more week!
