On food - upon arrival there was one chef, the food was excellent, then the chef changed and all the same dishes became disgusting. Food choices are very limited. Alcohol - like everywhere else in Egypt. We were at the hotel when the occupancy was 200 people and it was noticeable, especially in the bars where they give ice cream, and on the pontoons at the entrance to the exit from the sea, but in general the hotel is designed for 1200 vacationers, how are things going there with such occupancy, even I don't represent.
For older people with leg problems and people with disabilities, this hotel is not an option, since the entrance to the water is only from pontoons, buoys are stretched two meters from the shore, but there is a depth of 30-40 cm, the declared entrance to the sea along concrete paths is destroyed and lifeguards forbid walking on them. I understand that in winter it will be cold in this hotel, because during our stay in the summer a strong wind was constantly blowing, in the morning (5:00-6:00) we wanted to swim, but could not, at that time it was very strong wind and a big wave that throws you onto the reef. The reef is half-alive, for a C grade. There are many fish, but few varieties. Near the pontoons, swimming areas are fenced with buoys, approximately 3x5 m for 1200 vacationers.
Descent and ascent to the sea is generally a test, going down is still normal, but climbing a steep slope in the heat is not entirely pleasant. Taf-taf, a local bus, runs periodically, even has a schedule, but they do not adhere to it, they stand near the reception and wait for filling, only then they go, that is, on the way from the sea to the room, you can wait a very long time for it.
