Traveled with my husband in October 2007. Absolutely loved it. To be honest, I expected it to be worse. . .
Used the services of Pegasus.
We flew with VIM-AVIA. Departure from Moscow was at 6-30 in the morning and arrived there at about 10-30. While we got to the bus, we arrived at the hotel at approximately 11-00. Since the check-in time starts at 12-00, we stayed to look around.
Without any bribes, they gave us a very good room. Quite cozy.
The hotel area is just huge. Approximately 550 rooms.
The staff treat tourists with respect. Every day a very nice boy came to clean the room. Once we went to the beach and I had some clothes left on the bed. So this young man rolled up all my things and arranged them in a closet according to the color scheme.
On the very first evening, a representative of our tour operator gathered us in the conference room and instructed us where to stay, where to go in certain situations, what excursions are available, etc.
We went on a boat trip. Just great. .
ADVIСE:
1. Be sure to take a pair of warm blouses with you, because it is cool in the evening, despite the fact that it is hot during the day...
2. When you just arrive and go to the bus, do not let any of the locals take your suitcase to the bus. Because then they demand a $10 tip.
3. It's better to be polite with the staff, and even if you don't like something, it's best not to be rude. They are very kind guys and treat Russians very well. . .
4. If you want to spend the whole vacation there, then it’s better to take something from alcohol with you, because local beer doesn’t thrash))))))
Do not be afraid to leave valuables in the room....Nobody will take anything. On my bedside table were my diamond rings, a gold chain, earrings, a phone, money....no one took anything. Only when they wiped the dust they lifted them and then neatly put everything in one place. One day I decided to leave a tip for the boy, but I came to the room, cleaned up and didn’t even take anything... Then I had to catch him and give him a tip as a token of gratitude. We became friends with many of the staff. We did not leave without gifts from them....
