Who does the author recommend the hotel to?: For a relaxing holiday; For families with children
Until the day before departure, everything seemed fine to us. The hotel is really like an oasis - beautifully decorated with greenery and flowers, the greenest of all in which I was in Sharm. A good beach, even spacious for Sharm, three entrances to the sea along the paths and one from the pontoon, there is sand near the shore, there is where the children can hang out. The food is good, in my opinion, varied. There are no corals.
Unfortunately, the whole experience was hopelessly spoiled on the day before departure. In the morning, before going to the beach, we, as always, took out a tip from the safe, closed the safe and left. After dinner, I decided to recharge my phone before leaving, and then it turned out that all the money was gone, and the currency and rubles, everything except coins. We immediately went to the reception, where we were first asked for details, moreover, they were more interested in how much we spent and why so little, then we marinated for a while,
about forty minutes later, we went to our room with three representatives of the hotel, where, after examining the room, the staff began to search our personal belongings without asking for consent. Then we all returned together to the reception. We were told that a search would be made at the cleaner's and entry into the room (card system) would be checked and that we would arrive at 20:00. We called the TUI representative, who arrived an hour later, and from that moment on, the agency constantly supervised us, for which many thanks to the senior manager Ahmed and other managers who helped us. It was about 17:30. By this time, the administration took its reinforced concrete position, which consisted in the following: “this cannot be, we have nothing to do with it, what can you prove that the money was, you yourself are to blame” further, various charges were brought against us, for example: you yourself hid them, you stole them from each other, you got drunk and lost them.

The police were called (so we were told), which we waited for more than 2 hours to no avail, during which time the senior manager of TUI arrived, a meeting was held with the hotel manager (he was introduced to us as a director, although the next day we had a very unpleasant conversation with by another director) during which we were told that the cleaners of our building were searched and a listing of the entrances to the room was made, no money was found from the cleaners (ha ha) and strangers did not come to us. To prevent us from going to the police, compensation was offered - lunch and an individual transfer (for only $ 1300). We refused and went with a TUI representative to the police. The time was approaching nine in the evening. We returned to the hotel from the police at 12 at night. In the police, after an hour and a half of waiting, we were offered to write a statement, we wrote it. At the same time, our passports were taken away from us and all the time they were taken out somewhere,
after we demanded that we give up our passports, they began to raise their voices against us. The police told us about the same thing as in the hotel. In addition, they demanded that we indicate in the statement who we are accusing, that's right - we do not suspect, but we accuse. We replied that it is the work of the police to blame, we can only suspect, we have no evidence. By the end of the second hour, after our application was translated, we were told that in order for this application to be accepted, we must go to another city to the prosecutor's office, wait for a call (several days) and there, in the prosecutor's office, we have this application will accept. Otherwise, it will just be a piece of paper that no one needs. We contacted the senior manager of TUI again. He confirmed that if the police decided so, then it will be so, the travel agency will not compensate us for accommodation and of course there will be no new tickets, but it can help in negotiations with the hotel, but if the hotel does not agree,
the agency can't do anything, which is understandable. It was decided to meet in the morning. The next day we flew away and were not going to stay, which we reported to the police, which caused a new flurry of anger. After marinating us for another hour, our statement was given to our escort with comments - either you go to the prosecutor's office or we write down that all issues have been resolved with the hotel, on which we parted. Arriving at the hotel, we went to get ready, discussed the situation and decided that it was our duty to inform everyone who understands Russian about what had happened. "Forewarned is forearmed". The next day, we put our decision into action - warning everyone who was willing to listen. At the next meeting, we, Art. TUI manager, the one who was introduced to us as a director, we expressed our position. Further, while waiting for our bus to the airport, we continued to inform vacationers about the theft. Unexpectedly, we were called
now it seems really to Art. to the hotel manager in a separate office, where we were once again subjected to insults: “How dare you tell hotel guests about the missing money?!! ! You stole them from each other! You got drunk and lost them, etc. etc. If you dare to even talk to anyone else, we will kick you out of the hotel!! ! You are blacklisted!! ! And so on…". We also contacted the consulate, where they explained to us that if we went to the prosecutor's office, they would simply accept our application there and that's it. Finding money is not possible. Of course, after 10 hours you won't find them anymore. They have long been taken out of the hotel or hidden.

In this situation, it is especially unpleasant how the hotel management behaved. We were immediately put in the position of the accused and constantly subjected to insults. Rummaged through our belongings as if we were criminals, not victims.
When I was robbed in Croatia a few years ago,
no one dared to accuse me of stealing from myself.
Never again will I go to this hotel and in general to Egypt and I will not advise anyone.
