The hotel honestly does not correspond to 5 stars! For me personally, the main thing for which I come to Egypt is the sea! So: the beach at the hotel is terrible! just a rock and loungers below, it’s not ennobled in any way - in general, just NO! Second - corals - grey, dead! I don’t know why this is so - after all, in the neighboring Royal Rozhan, the corals are beautiful and colorful (by the way, in the same Rozhan I liked it much more during my vacation in 2005 and 2006).
The hotel has beautiful swimming pools, two of them are heated - for children it's just a paradise of course) but not for adults. Although there are many Europeans in the hotel and they hardly swim in the sea either : ) By the way, unlike ours, the staff really runs around the Europeans... Well, the Egyptians do not respect Russians : ) it is immediately obvious that neither the tables in front of them are cleaned, nor offer to bring anything. But, Christmas trees - not all Slavs are the same!
Next, the service... well, I don’t know who said that it’s 5... (except for the aforementioned Europeans)) until you ask for nothing, no one will bring or give you anything (although in theory they should give - the same slippers in the room which are very comfortable to wear after a shower). The rooms are cleaned only for the sake of appearance - there are layers of annual dust under the beds! Bed linen was not changed for us even once in a week, although tips were left more than once. Indeed, the rooms are large, nice balconies +5.

Meals: food is very monotonous - every day the same breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meat 3 points. They don't know how to cook meat in this hotel - it is such that it cannot even be cut with a knife, not to mention that it can be chewed. The fish is always the same. For lunch every day the same meat goulash (by the way, it’s more or less nothing), chicken or legs or wings, wings of some other bird, and of course potatoes and pasta (pasta is delicious by the way).
Italian restaurant - liked the pizza, pretty tasty.
By the way, I forgot to write that the hotel does not have a restaurant over the sea : ( where you could have lunch without returning to the main restaurant. Only a bar by the pool, otherwise what they give on the beach can hardly be called lunch at all
In general, everything is not so bad! but most of all I was disappointed with the beach and the sea, you can still put up with food... So I can say with confidence that I will not go there again.
By the way, if anyone is interested, I can recommend the hotel where I was Reef Oasis Beach Resort last year. This is really the best hotel in which I rested for all 4 times in Egypt. It is located at the entrance to the Ras Muhamed nature reserve, so the coral reefs there are simply fabulous, the territory is much greener and more beautiful than the Sultan, the food is +5... what are the murmuring fountains, mosaic layout and Moroccan carvings on wooden walls. The difference is only in the price : ) Next year, only there or in the neighboring Farana or Phanara Club.
