A week since we returned from this wonderful hotel, but already I want to go back! We rested with the family: my husband and I and an adult daughter-student. This is not the first time in Egypt, so there is something to compare with. We understand that now it is difficult and the crisis is in this direction, we traveled from afar and by district routes (so we wanted in the middle of winter and slush of the sun! ) And therefore we did not make particularly inflated demands. After all, what Egypt is valued for is the SEA all year round!!!
Important criteria when choosing a hotel were: the location of the hotel due to the off-season and winds (located in the Hadaba area, like Naama Bay - the most calm and comfortable bays in winter), the presence of animation, a gym, if possible, a heated pool (there were 3 !!! ), and the most important thing in a crisis is a “live” hotel (many hotels are 10-20% full, respectively, there is no normal food or service, others are preparing for the season and carrying out repairs on the territories, some are generally closed) . We looked at a bunch of reviews and photos of other hotels and settled on the Sunrise Diamond Beach Resort. Everyone praised this hotel. We thought we'd risk it! And they didn't fail!!!
In order:

1. We arrived at the hotel at about 10 am. They immediately sent us to breakfast (which was joyful, because they thought that we would be hungry until lunch). We settled quickly and immediately after breakfast. I got number 3037 (in the building, on one side of which there are water slides with a children's pool, on the other, a family pool, both heated). Nice, big, there is where to roam. Close to all the "iconic" places: the main building, the dining room, the main pool, etc. The room may not be very new, but everything is clean and tidy. Cleaned regularly and well. What was a pleasant surprise (for Egypt) was a fairly good Internet reception in most of the territory, even in our room (Skype video link was pulled without brakes when talking).
2. Food is good. It's hard to stay hungry. For a couple of days they looked closely at what and how, and then everything was “like clockwork”. We examined the assortment of the dining room, understood the waves of “comings and goings” of hungry tourists, and decided on the “favorite” table. Waiters work at a frantic pace. Everything is very fast and clean. "We are shocked! " Everyone speaks Russian, they say hello, they joke. Very nice! Very friendly! (We have something to compare with, so in one hotel, which is also 5 *, I will not indicate the name, and which we love very much for its beach, territory, we could throw cutlery on the table. Not for us, but ugly! ). Almost always at the beginning of breakfast-lunch-dinner the Chef stood at the entrance. Cool! In clean uniform, with medals, neat, smiling. Greeted people, wished bon appetit, was interested in whether everyone liked it. This characterizes that a person is rooting for his work and he cares.
3. Animation should have been put in the first place, but I wanted to somehow write in order until I get lost. Guys: Serega, Julia, Katya, Yana, Hima, Rio, Mamadou, Okka, Zhenya - Animators with a capital letter!!!! . They gave their work completely. Well done - nothing to say! We are not very active people, but anyway, through their efforts, we participated almost everywhere. They always have a smile on their face, with kindness. But what a hard work it is - to pull the "seals on vacation" to move. They were nice to watch in the evening shows. And Seryoga, in general, alone is worth the whole ensemble! Thank you so much for the positivity you bring to people! Everyone has their own trick in communication (someone is “handsome”, someone is “shocked”, someone is a “Latin American dancer”, and someone is “just black and evil”). And the girls are all beautiful and smart!! ! Keep it up!! ! This is the first time in all our vacations when we did not want to leave....from the Animators !! ! YOU ARE THE BEST !!! ! We literally "fell in love" with you. ? ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
4. The territory is huge. Everything is in flowers. Lawns "literally licked". Clean everywhere. Beautiful. A bunch of pools - everyone will find for themselves. We liked to hang out in the morning at the central one (where the music is fun. It is warm, you can even say hot), and in the afternoon, at relaxation (they also began to warm it up a little later). We rode the hills. Cool! They even dragged our “dad”! Try it out. As in childhood. It's great that there is such a pool - the children did not get out of it. Small and warm. "Adult seals" also swayed there and enjoyed. Relaxation has wonderful "booths" where you can hide from both the sun and the wind. It is quiet and calm there (children are driven away from him “culturally”). The pools are all clean.

In general, the hotel is huge, designed for more than 1000 people. Almost all of it was inhabited, and THERE WERE ENOUGH PLACE FOR EVERYONE!! ! EVERYWHERE!! ! And near the pools, and on the sea!! ! Plenty of free sunbeds everywhere.
5. The beach is large - multi-level platforms (pieces 5-7), with different entries into the sea. All are differently blown by the wind, as at different heights. The first site, near the pontoon, is the most densely populated. The pontoon is not very long float like in many hotels. The reef is good. There are a lot of fish. We dived and swam both ways. The beach is all “combed” from debris. Everything is immediately removed.
6. We went to the a la carte restaurant Vostochny. As with all of the above, everything is great. Tasty! Beautifully grilled dinner was brought. Nice, friendly and unobtrusive service. Nicely!!!
7. There is a gym. Small, but "he who seeks will always find" in it a projectile for himself. A couple of treadmills, a bike and some exercise equipment. You can shake the all-inclusive a little (if you wish). There is also a relaxation area - SPA (for 25 dollars - hammam, body peeling, soap massage, mask, etc. ). There are other types of procedures.
8. Another "unexpected" bonus - we checked out at 12 o'clock (we were supposed to be picked up from the hotel at 15 o'clock) - so no one cut off our bracelets and we could also go for lunch. And it was important for us - there was a long road home ahead... without "all inclusive"... ? (((
8. We did not go on excursions, as we visited them on previous trips. So, for ourselves, for the sake of interest, we went to the Old City. Taxi is $2. A very beautiful mosque. We went to El Mercato, very close. We bought fruits there - strawberries (tray 1 dollar, mango 2-3 dollars per kg, kumquat = yummy !!! ). We took a taxi to Naama Bay (we used to rest there) - 2 dollars. Walk along the promenade and see what's in the hotels. Sad. Empty. The hotels are quiet. No one walks along the seaside alley - a few people in total (and even those, in my opinion, are foreigners). There are practically no people.

9. In general, I would like to express one gratitude for our wonderful vacation. Respect to the owner of the hotel and managers, for their competent work in keeping the hotel afloat in a crisis, for the selected and well-trained staff. For goodwill and smiles from all sides. For purity. Chef for delicious food. And our favorite Animashkam - beyond the sea of positive!! ! We miss you already and will return to your hotel for sure.
10. The only negative is the Anex tour guide. When he found out that we were not going anywhere, he immediately snorted and lost all interest in us. Well, okay... we were not offended...
