My husband and I were in September 2008. We chose the hotel mainly based on reviews and were not mistaken. We liked everything very much, even though the room was really not ideal, but we tuned in to it right away, so we didn’t pay attention, especially since we only slept in the room and then for 5-6 hours a day. Even at the hotel, as it were, construction work is underway, but they are so imperceptible that we were frankly surprised when they were building.
The main trump card is the sea and the fabulous reef that I fell in love with from the first voyage (and now I suffer from separation). Naturally, there is nothing to do there without a mask and tube, so stock up in advance. The entrance is really deep 15-20 meters, but I, a terrible coward, found a way out - I bought a life jacket and felt like an ichthyander. It is useless to talk more about the sea - you just need to see it.
In the evening we spent time in an animation bar, all animation and competitions were in English, but if you wanted to participate, the Russian animator Elena perfectly translated what was required of you. After the animation, a disco where no one seems to be dancing, BUT it all depends on you, for example, when we rested, if desired (and we had it), all the resting Slavic youth came out and hung out to the fullest.

The dishes in the restaurants are varied, but most of all we liked to dine in the restaurants SHARM and EL SHEIKH, and dine in the RIF restaurant (near the beach). The drinks are not bad, and after a tip personally to the bartender in the animation bar, they generally ate masterpieces combined with a bartending cooking show. So do not regret the tip.
Separately, I want to note the work of the attendants - always with a smile and a greeting (they try very hard to learn a couple of extra Russian words).
Of the excursions were in Cairo on the pyramids - a rather heavy excursion, but there are also many impressions, in particular from the hall of Tutankhamun in the national museum of Egypt and, in fact, from the Pyramids. We were also diving - my husband was delighted with the dive. And we were in the Water Park - also entertainment for every taste. All excursions were taken at the hotel from Tez tour - their work is impeccable.
In general, my advice to those who have doubts or who have already taken a ticket and are worried about the rest - discard bad thoughts and tune in to a wonderful holiday in a wonderful hotel, of course, take a smile and good mood with you - you will not regret it.
