So we have something to compare. As all the people already wrote, the hotel is new. The photos that are placed on the hotel's advertising website are not all taken in this hotel. The real ones are somewhere in the last 5-6. We arrived in the evening and settled us in building 35 in room 545. I was shocked - there was a construction site nearby, and this was some kind of loud knock, the hammer was working, some dump truck arrived at 5 in the morning. Buzzed and unloaded something. In addition, our balcony did not close, the safe did not work, and boiling water poured from both taps. After that, you simply do not pay attention to such trifles as plaster spots on the floor. My husband's attempts to change the number on the same evening were unsuccessful - neither for money nor for thanks. I was very upset and reproached myself for the fact that I so persistently sought to go to this particular hotel (and I had to book it a month and a half in advance). Luckily it was just one bad moment. . In the morning at ten o'clock I went to the reception and for some reason they changed my number to 572 in building No. 40 without any problems. It is almost next to the main building and the pool, though far from the sea. After that, the rest seemed like a fairy tale to us. The food was delicious, especially salted red fish, the drinks were cold, but the most wonderful thing is THIS SEA. The reef starts near the shore and stretches along the entire coast. But there is NO BOTTOM. I am very afraid of the depth, so we had to buy a life jacket for 60 pounds. Yes, for the information of those who are going to this hotel, when we left, we began the construction of another staircase for descending into the sea, so that we won’t have to push anymore. The reviews of tourists about the insufficient number of sunbeds were also incorrect. There are problems with sunbeds only near the sea and only when you come there during the day. Come at 8 am and you will always find a free seat. If you want a sunbed on the first line, you need to come at 5-30 with the Germans and meet the dawn at 6 in the morning. By the way, it's very beautiful. The sun rises straight from the sea. Then you can sleep off on the beach and the day turns out to be very long. The ticket includes two visits to evening restaurants. You can sign up for the day near the restaurant, which is to the right of the entrance. I recommend trying veal meat with two sauces in the Fusion restaurant. Very tasty, melts in your mouth (or maybe we just got lucky with the chef). Only order a restaurant in the first week of your stay at the hotel, because after a week you don’t want to look at the food. We also went to the Gazelle Hotel - a beach that belongs to the owner of the Grand Hotel. We signed up for 2-3 days. The hotel is so-so. Very worn and torn sunbeds on the beach. The entrance to the sea is good, but my husband was probably stung by a jellyfish. The leg, stomach and arm were covered with pimples. It burned and hurt a lot for the first hour or two, but by the evening the pain was completely gone, and by morning nothing was almost visible. I think this happened because he swam close to the bridge from which the fish were fed. This happened for the first time during our entire stay in Egypt. By the way, an allergy to the sun appeared in our neighbor. He called the doctor and it turned out that allergy insurance does not apply. . True, the doctor wrote some other diagnosis, and as a result, the doctor himself will receive all the insurance compensation. We drove from the hotel to Jerusalem. The trip is hard, lasting 27 hours - departure at 8 pm and return at 11 am. But it's worth it. We bought a ticket from our operator - Teztur. On the street, such a trip costs 120 USD. e, and in the hotel 220. True, we bargained for 210 y. e. We did not dare to drive from the street. The excursion consists of a trip to Jerusalem - the Wailing Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, to Palestine - the Bethlehem Church of the Nativity of Christ and the Dead Sea. By the way, being at the Dead Sea, you should not buy bath salt in the store there. In the sea, five meters from the shore, you can simply type it into a bag yourself. There, the bottom is strewn with salt crystals. That's probably all in general. Feel free to go to the hotel only if you are offered buildings 33 or 35 - it’s better to refuse right away!
