So - Egypt, Sharm, Grand Hotel Sharm 5*****. Before the trip, my brother and I surfed the Internet, looked for reviews about the hotel we were going to go to and were amazed at the spread of ratings in the reviews we read: from the honeyed "oh, how wonderful" to the peevish "and what for I went there. " Realizing that neither the blasphemy nor the praise of the truth is contained, we decided to go - and let it be what will be. And they weren't wrong.
We went with Tez-Tour, the tour was bought at the Buy-Tour agency, Yekaterinburg. And the agency, and the tour operator, and the host hotel did their job on a solid five on a five-point scale, there is nothing to complain about, from all sides attention, respect and the absence of overlays. The classic scheme worked: we paid the money and the rest is not our problem - that’s how it was, after we got on the plane - we didn’t bother with organizational issues at all, and for this heartfelt thanks to Tez-Tour and his guides Ahmed and Natalia, Buy- Tour and his travel agent Olga.
About the hotel. Relatively new, green territory, polite staff, few children, youth and animation - just what we wanted. The territory of the hotel terraces down to the sea, there are two beaches. It is better to take places on the main beach early, at 6 am: you can just leave a towel on a sunbed and go to sleep. There are about a third of Russians, the rest are Czechs, Germans, Austrians, Swiss, few English speakers. The rooms are small, clean, all with balconies and air conditioning, everything works. The staff speaks Russian, some better, some worse. I started with English, but they detect Russians from the back a hundred meters away, so you can speak Russian. Several restaurants are littered with food (we rested with the all-inclusive system), everything is very tasty, especially desserts - it is impossible to break away. I didn't like the local beer, but the wine there is good. The sea - it's beautiful, and corals, and fish - just in bulk. A mask is definitely needed, the water is very salty, it burned my eyes, and the fish are not really visible without a mask. All equipment can be bought there, we bought fins for $15. The internal rate (at the hotel) of the Egyptian pound is 5 pounds per dollar, in the bank - 5.6 pounds, we did not bother and changed directly at the reception. there are many pools on the territory of the hotel, I counted 9 pieces, life is also in full swing there)))).

We did not see any of the horrors that we read in the reviews there. No theft, rudeness, dirt, lateness and forgetfulness of guides, no extortion of money for services and spoiled food in restaurants. If we are going to Egypt again, we will go to another hotel for a change of experience, but this hotel is wonderful.
