Arrived with a friend on January 1st late in the evening. There were many people in the hotel, almost all Ukrainians. We left our suitcases in the hall, we were sent to dinner. The hotel immediately frightened - the reception and the restaurant promised much to be desired. Looking ahead, the food was the same every day, and the meat from the cooks had to be almost mined))). We settled in the room on the 3rd attempt, and of course not without $ 10 (either the hair dryer is rusty and on adhesive tape, then the tiles on the floor are all battered in the room and crumble). But most importantly, the staff shouts to you "this is the best number, give me a dollar")))). We are not so capricious, but just when you pay $ 350 for 5 days, you expect better. But the crisis has clearly had a very strong impact - from year to year, Egypt is reducing its position. So if you come across a super hot and cheap offer for this hotel, then only in this case you can fly here. It is impossible to swim in the pools in winter - they are icy. There are a lot of sun loungers, towels are given out (the condition is as it gets). The sea was very warm all day. In general, Sharm in winter is how lucky with the weather. At the end of February 2017, we were caught in the heat, and in January 2018 there were days when there were only a few people on the beach and near the pools, as a very cold and unpleasant wind was blowing. Evening entertainment program at the hotel by only animators (honestly, very reminiscent of evenings in the 10th grade))). None of the local artists are invited - they say that the hotel does not allocate money for this. The territory is large, green, there is where to walk. The waiters and bartenders are nice. Then we closed our eyes to all the moments, and just enjoyed this short vacation and the opportunity to change the home environment.
