Grand не разочаровал! Grand did not disappoint!

We went to rest in Egypt for the second time. 3 years ago we were in Sierra, we were satisfied! This time they chose between Savita and Sierra! Price category - 700-750 dollars! In the end, having taken the last plane tickets and without reading the reviews, we booked The Grand Hotel! I came home, started reading reviews, like nothing, but they scared me with terrible numbers!
The plane landed at about 9 am and the hotel had to wait for the settlement! We were 2 couples, the voucher indicated the desired location of the rooms and a double bed. First they settled in the outskirts, in a building for Russians)) and rooms with separate beds! But the condition of the rooms is quite decent! For $ 10 we were moved to a completely different building with a great view and location! The condition of the rooms is a four, according to the reviews I expected the worst!
A 1.5 liter bottle of water was only at the entrance, as well as bathroom amenities (shower gel: shampoo), until the end of the holiday they were not changed. Only if you personally ask: they will put a new set. The minibar is filled upon request. They cleaned every day, not very carefully, although they left a dollar every day. Towels were not twisted, flowers were not strewn. Friends once rolled a flower and a swan, although they never left for tea)

The territory is very large, green and beautiful!
There are many restaurants on the territory, we did not even have time to visit all of them. In the morning we ate in Sharm, we had a second breakfast at the Pool Grill - hamburgers and hot dogs with french fries, delicious pancakes and waffles with various fillings and ice cream at Crepe & Sweets, for an afternoon snack we went to Tapas (Spanish Ala Carte) ate fish and squids in batter and dined in the Reef or some Ala carte. In general, we ate a lot and often)))
For lunch we got only once, always 2 types of soups, meat mainly chicken and veal. In the evening there is a turkey. From fruits - oranges, apples, melon, bananas!
Caribbean Ala Carte is very spicy food, love it, but we liked their green soups! Good Italian Ala carte "Olive". Ala carte me from seafood, steak menu - for a fee. For example, 7 euros for 100 grams of lobster.
Since we arrived on January 17 and on the same day it was raining with a thunderstorm, pieces of plaster fell off in the hall, there was no electricity all night, it was impossible to contact the world until the evening of January 18. The pools after the rain were cleaned only after 5 days. Therefore, the whole audience sunbathed on the beach. At 8.30 there were enough sunbeds on the beach, but they are all in the shade due to the fact that the entire beach is in umbrellas. The sand is sifted every day. The stairs to the sea are comfortable, the depth is 30 meters at once, there are few fish. I don’t understand anything about reefs, I can’t say. The only problem was changing the beach towels. The first three days I had to go to the reception and ask for a replacement, then they brought it and changed it when cleaning the room.
The audience is mostly Germans 55+. There was not a single person of my age 21-25 years old. Russian people 20 for the whole hotel. I don’t know why everyone complains about Russian hotels, if the Germans also get drunk like a pig in bars and behave worse than Russians.

They never went to animation shows, they practically didn’t see animators, well, it’s nice) I don’t like it when they pester with invitations to play games or go to aerobics!
There is no spa, only under construction. The pools are not heated. The hotel was largely unaffected by the downpour and repairs were already underway.
We went to Naama, not far from the hotel souvenir shops and a supermarket. By the way, souvenirs are cheaper there than on Naama Bay!
