Recently returned from vacation. We rested at The Grand Hptel Sharm El Shei.
I have to say that I do not recommend this hotel at all.

In general, we have been resting in Egypt for more than 10 years, we have stayed in different hotels.
This was our second stay at this hotel. Previously there were 1.5 years ago.

I want to say that during this time a lot of changes happened in the hotel, not for the better, there is no smell of five there anymore:
1. the rooms in the hotel were simply killed, the closet door was broken in our room (the neighbors did not have a hair dryer and it was replaced only on the 6th day of rest), the TV is antediluvian (the remote control buttons simply fail); when checking in, they brought shampoo and shower gel only 1 time - they didn’t replenish it anymore; towels were changed during cleaning with fresh ones every other time, it happened that towels were not changed.

2. the level of nutrition has fallen - the menu has become very meager, there really isn’t anything to choose from, we ate mostly steamed vegetables, french fries, rice, there were oranges and grapefruits from fruits.
There was no full-fledged fish, only one name (some kind of fish skins were given), the meat was tasteless tough; there is no variety of food, almost the same thing and the tables did not break.
3. service has deteriorated - you will not wait for a waiter on the beach; if you did come, you wait another half an hour until he talks to everyone and brings you this already warm glass of mineral water.
4. my companion had problems with his leg (we went on vacation because we took a ticket earlier and decided that it didn’t matter where to lie) - it was hard to walk a lot, we rested on the pool, the waiters could not even bring pancakes from the bar that was nearby or an apple. Argument - it is impossible, it is forbidden by the rules of the hotel. They said that these were privileges and that other people would be jealous and want too. One German lady named Christina, a hotel worker, is sitting at the reception, tried to help, brought food, but then she saw that the person was walking and refused to help anymore.
Apparently in her mind, we teleported to rest. Of course, a person walks, but on the heel and not quickly and with difficulty. We spoke with the top management, but they still didn’t even allow fruit to be brought. Not pleasant, inhuman attitude of the staff is extremely unpleasant.
Honestly, we went to this Hotel for the second time because the beautiful territory and the coral reef are interesting.
But since the general level of the hotel has fallen so much, the attitude of the staff is bestial - will we no longer go to The Grand H? tel Sharm El Sheikh we will not go.
