The Grand Hotel...
A title that is completely untrue.
Quarantine is a test that the hotel failed miserably.

Next in order:
Our company of 7 people arrived in Grand on July 22 for 12 days. The first thing we did was to “bribe” the receptionist to put us in good rooms next door. The rooms were really good, apart from our broken door handle, the old TV (which didn't bother us at all) and the lack of toilet paper. The boys (they lived together) were generally given a cool “Junior” room on the first line - large and spacious.
We were also impressed by the green area, with a lot of shade, which is very important in Egypt in the summer.
This is where all the advantages of the hotel end...

Since we arrived at 5 am, we were given wristbands and were the first to attend breakfast. We were very surprised when the waiter came up to us and said that he would bring everything himself. “Where is the promised join up buffet? , we thought.
"But it's only breakfast, okay, let's... ".

As you understand, we were not given a choice and were brought an incomprehensible paper composition of sausage and cheese, served with bread. At the request to repeat the dish (although it was not tasty, we still wanted to eat strongly), we were sharply refused.

Well, breakfast is not the main thing, we hope for a delicious lunch ...
Then we went to the sea, where at 10:00 a bar opened and we could take our long-awaited drinks ...and they really became LONG-WAITED.
“Beer - in 10 minutes” - the barik told us during the entire hour of waiting. Subsequently, these 10 minutes became the slogan of the bar on the beach, as a rule - no more than two 200-ml cups in one hand!
As it turned out, in order to get a decent amount of drinks, you need to turn into an orphan and literally beg for an additive on your knees.
Lunch starts at 12:30 - there are enough places where dishes are served (unlike the portions themselves), but the main thing, as experienced vacationers told us, is not to do this in the main restaurant:
- firstly: it is very far from the sea and getting there in the midst of the heat is murder;
- Secondly: the food there, to put it mildly, is like the 5th table in a sanatorium;
- Thirdly: this is the staff who will snort at you, snarl and, which is not excluded, SPIT IN FOOD.

Of course, the other restaurants on site do not differ in the quality of customer service, but the food is more or less acceptable. If you can take it, of course.

I already said that lunch is here from 12:30. It lasts until 15:00.
So, having come to the restaurant on the beach at 12:55, they told me that the delicious shawarma was over and I came too late. Okay, I'm going to the restik on the pool:
“Deushka, sis table bizi bizi” - the waiter at the place of deployment tried to kick me off. OK...
No, not ok, of course...
foaming at the mouth, I walk up the stairs - hungry and angry as a dog - sit in a burger bar and wait for food. I'm waiting 20 minutes.
Hooray! They bring me a burger: a bun, the size of a loaf, and a 5-centimeter cutlet + 7 potatoes.
After a little lunch, I feel a slight satisfaction and calm down a little.

The next day we decide to go for lunch at the main restaurant...(The three dots play an important role, really).

We sit down at the largest possible table (they observe quarantine, after all (at the same time they take french fries with their hands)) and wait for a legitimate meal...40 minutes!! ! Unable to withstand the intensity of events, my friend and CAMERA retreat to the kitchen to get dishes. And of course, we are met by a "hospitable" Egyptian without a mask, who leaves the food preparation area. He begins to convince us that this is not a kitchen and that he is here almost by accident. Realizing that we won’t get food, we try to leave after turning off the camera, but ...
The worker, whom we filmed, flies up to a friend and takes the phone by force, wringing his hands. Patience bursts like a soap bubble and I start yelling with all my might, because I don’t know how this attack will end. The whole restaurant ran to my wild cry, the phone was safely taken from the wild waiter by one of the vacationers. The frames of the conversation have been preserved, it is a pity that without the moment of attack on the operator.

Well, we go to the reception to clarify how such behavior of the staff is generally acceptable. The smiling administrator in an instant turns into a frostbitten object, which keeps repeating: “Call Ukraine, joinap, we have nothing to do with it. If you don't like something, move to another hotel. Seriously?? ? Yes, it is quite. This was the last straw, after which even our, not so responsive tour operator, was still able to find a new hotel without additional payment.
This oasis for us was Xperience Kiroseiz Parkland, about which we can say a lot of laudatory reviews, for the most part due to the contrast that we were able to experience during our stay in Grande, but since this review specifically honors The Grand Hotel Sharm El Sheikh, I will postpone describing the correct hotel with quality service and hospitality.
I will add one thing: the Red Sea Hotels chain - never again!
