Over the years of trips to this hotel, he became a native, like a house by the sea. You don’t notice at all that you are in another country, everything is familiar, comfortable. At the same time, I do not want to go to any other hotel. If you are going to fly to Sharm, there are no questions about which hotel, only the Grand. I put a four because Covid, unfortunately, has made adjustments to the work of the Grand Hotel. The most beloved relaxation pool, where I spent very, very many days, does not work, several more pools and restaurants do not work. They stopped giving a kettle to the rooms, I don’t understand why, it’s very inconvenient, as I like to drink coffee. There are significantly fewer dishes in the dining room, but this is not critical. I compare with what I knew before, how I knew the hotel before. And I've been here a lot, more than 10 times.
The staff is somehow very cool, if not indifferent to their duties, given that they have been out of work for six months, they do everything reluctantly, sometimes only when they see the authorities or when you poke them with your nose. I don't quite understand this attitude towards work. But of course, this is not about all of them. The hotel also has employees who probably keep the work of the hotel, true professionals in their field, do their work not for show, but because they really love their work and value their reputation and the reputation of the hotel. My personal opinion is that thanks to such employees, all negative aspects are smoothed out, you feel both care and attention, and this is called "service".
In separate lines I would like to mention two of these employees, this is the receptionist Ahmed Saleh, a true professional in his field, who does his job 200%, also the girl Ksenia, an employee of the Room service, is so attentive, responsive and efficient that, to be honest, I was even a little surprised. If these guys read the lines I wrote, I want to say hello to them and thank you very much. They do everything possible and even impossible so that the guests have only positive emotions. As long as such employees are in the hotel, he will live.

I hope the epidemic will end, everything will fall into place, the Grand Hotel will be the same as before, and I will gladly correct my rating to five stars. Despite all of the above, next time I will fly only here. I believe that the Grand will become the way I loved it.
