I have traveled to different countries. In Egypt - the fifth time. This is my first negative review, although I was in a 3-star hotel for the first time (maybe in all the "triples" so, I don't know), before that I was always in the "fours". First, about the cons, which I arranged according to the degree of my indignation.
The first and most important minus is a very lazy and stupid staff. They politely answered any request “Wait 15 minutes in the room” and forgot about me, until after several visits to the reception desk with an interval of 1 hour, I did not start swearing, only then they eliminated my jamb. And so did the vacationers from each room, because. shoals were everywhere.
The second negative is the number. When checking in, there was a dirty sheet in the sand on one of the beds, I tried to change it from the moment of check-in (21.00) until 24.00. Water flowed to the floor from under the sink all 6 days of rest, there was a constant puddle on the floor, the ""engineer"" believed that we were splashing water when bathing in the shower. The first three days I tried to prove something, and then scored. Room cleaning is disgusting. Furniture worn by time. The first night we didn’t sleep at all because of the huge number of mosquitoes, the next day I bought myself a fumigator for $ 2 and solved the problem. To change the towels, I ran around the hotel every day and looked for a cleaner.

The third minus is the canteen. In the canteen you disdain to take everything with your hands, you constantly want to wash your hands. The food is slightly below average, but you won't die of hunger. Instead of coffee in the canteen - CHICORY, I have not seen such goofiness in any country, in any hotel. I bought water in the store, I do not consider this a problem.
The fourth minus is the coral beach. You need to queue for the bus 15 minutes before departure, if you don’t get in, wait for the next flight (although a taxi there costs $ 1). Beach for several hotels. You lie on a sunbed, like sprats in a jar, there is no space at all between the sunbeds, there are 6-8 sunbeds close to each other, on my side there were two grandmothers who retold yesterday's episode of "Roksolana", and on the side of my wife, three were sitting on 2 sunbeds Arab and smoked. I stayed on this beach for 30 minutes and took a taxi to a paid coral beach.
The fifth minus is the contingent of vacationers.
Further, everything is not so bad. The second beach is sandy, relatively good. The pool is good, free sunbeds are always available. The territory of the hotel is also good, green, beautiful, with well-thought-out infrastructure. The location of the hotel is satisfactory, but there is nowhere to walk in the evening. The Hadaba area (and I am in it for the third time) goes out every year, as does tourism in Egypt as a whole. Taxi from Hadaba to Naama $3, to Soho $5, to the beaches $1.
I got the impression that once upon a time, in a past life, the hotel was much higher in level. This is my first hotel in Egypt where I don't want to return.
I made 2 conclusions: 1) you can not choose old hotels; 2) it is better to pay the extra $100-200 and not feel inferior.
