Thanks to all previous commenters. Negative reviews especially helped - forewarned is forearmed. We stayed for the first time in January. The vacation came out unexpected, they didn’t really intend to, the offer was very hot and cheap - 520 dollars each. for one - half board 15 days. After reading the reviews were fully armed, as expected, everything turned out not so gloomy at all. We immediately asked for a room on the third floor with a terrace, they did not take money from us. The hotel at that time was about 50% full, there were no queues for food, the food was normal, pastries may be a little worse than in other hotels, but not bad, especially for breakfast, there are enough croissants for everyone. We, of course, took with us smoked sausages and Moldovan wine, and chocolate. This is an elk, good rooms, the territory is small, but everything is compact, along the outer perimeter the territory of the hotel is lined with eucalyptus trees. We caught a thunderstorm on January 17, but without much damage, it was flowing from the ceiling in the toilet, but after a couple of days nothing reminded of it anymore, the Arabs themselves were at first delighted with thunder and lightning, rejoiced and filmed, then many threw their cars straight on the roads, as they went halfway under the water. They say it hasn't happened in 26 years. The beach is good, but it is advisable to take the first bus at 9 o'clock to get the best seats in the "auditorium", also thanks to the previous reviews. From our balcony there was a good view of the mountains, it's okay that it's not even the second line. At this time of the year, the sun is hot during the day, and in the evening it is a pleasure to take a walk in the Old Market, because it is not hot at all. For excursions, the time is also very comfortable, the street agency is right in front of the hotel. Cheburashkas work very well, no one complained - cheap. We decided to take a ride to Cairo, because we had been there for a long time. Everything was well organized, but we got a Georgian group of tourists as fellow travelers, 22 people - this is a shock. Nationalistic moments are alien to me, but next time I will definitely inquire about the national composition of the group. How terribly they behaved, especially young people - they mimicked the Russian-speaking guide, we spent the whole night like in a chicken coop, instead of sleeping. I don't understand why go if you're not interested. Very quick-tempered and touchy, both men and women, started quarrels with the rest of the "non-Georgian" participants of the excursion. For them, this is a new tourist destination, so the hotel guides breed them on full-time excursions. But these are trifles, and so the rest came out very good, the memories are a solid positive. So, comrades, read the reviews, be armed with information and have fun!
