We stayed at the hotel from 6 to 13 June.
The hotel is small but cozy. Most vacationers are Russian-speaking, there are also many Poles. When we were there, the hotel was about 50% full. We were given a nice room in which everything worked. The air conditioner was quiet. Is there a safe in the room. Cleaned well, changed towels every day. The staff is polite, there were no problems with them. The hotel is 30 min. walk from the Old Town (Old market). This is probably the only place where you can buy fruit. You can get there by taxi for $3. A taxi to Naama Bay costs about $4. There is a bus from the hotel in the evening, which apparently used to be free. At the reception there is still an information sheet in Russian, which says that the bus is free, but in fact it costs $ 3 per person. both ends. The complex 1001 nights (Alf Leila valeila) can be reached on foot in 20 minutes. You can change money in the complex 1001 nights (it is closer) or in the Old Market (at the entrance). If you need a local sim card, nj you can buy one for $4 at the Vodafone office in El Mercato (15min walk from the hotel, just remember to bring your passport). A tourist SIM card is valid for 3 months and you can use it to call any country for 4 pounds min. (about $0.80
Beach. The hotel is far enough from the sea. You need to go by a hotel bus, which runs according to the following schedule: from the hotel at 9:00.10:00.12:00.13:00.14:00.16:00.17:00. Back from the beach at 8:15.10:15.12:15.13:15.14:15.16:15.17:15.18:15 (when it gets dark early, the schedule changes slightly). The bus runs right on schedule. Walk far. We didn't try it, but it would probably have been 30 min. You can take a taxi for $1-2. People are brought to the beach from 5 hotels (Mexicana, Sol Y Mar, Falcon, Grand Sharm and Verginia). But the beach is big and spacious. We had enough sun beds for everyone and were free. although in high season it may not be enough. Entry into the sea from a pontoon. There is a coral reef, for which we actually went there. We saw moray eels several times, hornbills swam, triggerfish, little Napoleons passed along the bottom. Once a huge manta ray moved along the bottom. Having sailed a little further from the reef, we saw eagle rays, manta rays and larger fish. You can sail along the reef, from beach to beach, as much as you can - there are practically no motor boats on the pontoons. But if you swim without fins, be careful, sometimes there is a strong current along the reef. If you are traveling in the hot season and like to swim for a long time and at the same time burn easily in the sun, then be prepared for the fact that you will have to swim in clothes. We, in order not to burn out, swam in tight leggings and golf.

At 15 min. walk from the hotel there is a paid Reef Beach ($5). The bus doesn't go there. But there, right next to the coast, it’s very deep, as if you are looking into the abyss, so if you are afraid of the depth or don’t know how to swim, then you better not go there.
Nutrition. The variety of food is more C grade, although you will not starve. For breakfast there was always a fruit salad and grapefruits, pastries, vegetables, fried scrambled eggs and pancakes. But it will be difficult for lovers to have breakfast with meat, because. from meat there are only sausages (if they can be considered meat). We had breakfast and dinner, so I don't know what they give for lunch. BTW, everyone can take water from the cooler at dinner, and not just those who have everything inclusive (in other hotels they didn’t give us water at dinner). For a dinner of meat every day there was chicken and beef (one day lamb kebab lula). The fish was not every day, but often, though sometimes very tasty, and sometimes not. There were salads (the choice is not great). Every evening there were 2 types of fruit: oranges, dates, even fesalis was given once, melon, 3 times there was watermelon. And sweets. They gave baklava several times. We had enough food. If you do not take all inclusive, then do not worry about the water. There are a lot of shops around the hotel where you can buy water for 2-2.5 local pounds (40-50 US cents). )
Animation is every evening with translation into Russian. But to go to bed before 23-23:30 (on different days in different ways) you most likely will not succeed, because. music yells throughout the hotel.
