Maybe for someone this is a trifle, but we are people with a modest income and this is a sum for us. We decided to stay and spend the money on entertainment. In the end, we did not come to sit in the rooms. As a result, two days later we realized that it was not worth straining, after watching the movement around the hotel, especially in the evening, we realized that we now don’t want to go to other rooms for anything, and ours are very suitable for us due to their remoteness from the "main holiday life" and relative privacy, we put chairs in front of our doors (our entrances were located nearby, the platform itself was a triangle, the doors were in the corner on both sides, when we were in the rooms, we did not close our doors) and often sat before going to bed with beer and snacks, discussed the events of the next day. And if you wanted fun, then you went out to the pool, there was evening animation, the guys were great, every day they tried to entertain people, and ended the program with a fun playful dance - everyone danced). As for mosquitoes - guys, they are everywhere, even in front of the best rooms, in the evening they nibbled on the legs, wherever they went, so it does not depend on the location of the room. Yes, at six in the evening an employee passed with a very noisy contraption and sprayed some kind of agent, either smoke or gas, in general, when we heard the growing noise, we simply closed the windows and doors. In half an hour everything is as usual, no stench and smoke. And fewer mosquitoes, of course. The room is really dark, well, at night all the rooms are dark))), but during the day we didn’t sit in it. In the morning I parted the curtains and opened the window and it ventilated for a while, in the afternoon and a little in the evening too. The furniture is old, but everything was in good condition, TV, refrigerator, hair dryer, air conditioning, safe - everything is working. The only thing that was a little annoying was one key for two, we often had to run around in search of our son in order to get into the room. If I come to Virginia again, I will specifically ask for the same numbers. And there are amazing plants blooming everywhere and delighting the eye. I won’t talk about food for a long time, everyone writes this and I won’t write anything new, in Egyptian hotels no one will be able to starve to death - this is a fact I have verified)) about monotony, people often write. . . maybe if you live there for a month. The staff is smiling, friendly, in almost the entire hotel, even sometimes at the reception, in principle, there is no particular reason to complain, the rule "like it or not" works here, and no one has canceled the great power of the Dollar). The hotel is located very conveniently, if you leave it and go left to the end of the street, there is a supermarket with fixed prices, where we successfully bought gifts and souvenirs, and take a beautiful walk in the evening to the Mumbai restaurant, there is a very well-groomed area, green and petunias bloom. And to the right if you walk from the hotel, at the end of the street there is a liquor store, the owner is Marco (and the sign says the same), he has excellent alcohol and high customer service, in general, a person in his place, however, I recommend it. Of course, the prices are a little higher than you can find in the Old Town, but you still have to drive to the Old Town, this will be your difference. In addition, you can negotiate with Marco; ) About the beaches: they wrote that the sandy one is worse, it is better to go to the coral one. We did just that on the first day - we went to the coral. And they didn't go anymore. The taste and color. . . generally so. There are a dozen sunbeds, wanting a few dozen, a narrow space even for these same sunbeds, everyone lies back to back and almost on each other’s heads, there is no pontoon, you have to swim to the corals, the brave ones did it, but alas, we were not one of them. We didn't go anymore. But we really liked the sandy one. We also walked to the METRO store, relatively close to it on foot from the old city, there are fixed prices, but there is no alcohol, and the ice cream is very tasty. I started with excursions, without telling anything about the hotel, then we reached everything ourselves or with the help of other vacationers.
