We rested in August 2018. Very mixed emotions remained: the negative is mainly associated with the Join up tour operator (in general, this name has become a household name in this hotel). Basic facts:
1. This hotel is declared as 5 *, but in fact 3 * +. The territory of the hotel is part of the larger Xperience Parkland, in theory, guests of both hotels can use common facilities in the form of a water park, several restaurants, and swimming pools. During our stay, the Parkland hotel is in a state of repair: part of the territory is generally blocked by tape, 3 restaurants are closed, several buildings (and the first floor in our residential building), as well as the reception itself, are mothballed. Of course, what he saw causes, to put it mildly, disappointment.
2. Numbers. Here and below, I will already describe Parkland, because due to the overload of Premier (we got to the Arab holidays of Kuiram Bairan), we were settled in this particular part. Traveled 2 adults + 1 child 8 years old. They gave a shabby room with two single beds, in which the TV did not work, there was no hair dryer at all, 3 lamps burned out (there were problems with lighting in general, including in the corridor), a broken safe (it turned out that the batteries were dead), a rattling air conditioner... (although he perfectly saved from 45 degree heat). The walls in the room are "tired", however, like a bathroom. Struck by a layer of dust during the settlement . .

Pros: our claims were heard, everything was repaired; but I advise Russian-speaking tourists to take a flash drive with movies / cartoons, since there is only 1 channel (ORT); fresh bed linen, good towels, of which for a chocolate bar you will be surprised every day with new little animals; high-quality orthopedic mattresses on which to sleep well.
3. Infrastructure: the hotel is located further than on the 3rd beach line, so do not think that you can get to the sea on your own (except for a taxi), which means that you will have to depend on the schedule of hotel buses, which are not always enough places, so you need to register at the reception. However, they refuse to carry Join up tourists - so be prepared if you are traveling from this company - you are perceived as the 2nd grade. It’s generally a problem to go to a sandy beach, the situation is better with a coral one, but there were also moments when there weren’t enough places and you had to wait in the sun for half an hour... The length of the route by bus is 15-20 minutes.
4. Coral beach. A very beautiful reef, diving from a wooden bridge at great depths, so I recommend this beach to experienced swimmers who are confident on / in the water. There is a bar on the beach with free drinks, there is no ice cream, from 12/30 to 14/30 hot snacks in the beach cafe. There is animation: yoga or exercise, oriental dancing, darts, volleyball, table tennis. Rescuer Ahmed - well done - helps to climb the bridge, especially children, keeps order (which is important when there are Arabs who behave very frivolously).
5. Sandy beach. Ideal for small children, since the water is shallow, but there are no fish here either. But you can buy an excursion on a boat, a boat with a transparent bottom or rent a catamaran, as well as all kinds of beach activities: a banana, a parachute, buns... There is no animation here, but you can also have a bite to eat at a beach restaurant or cool off at a bar drinks in normal containers (non-disposable).

6. Food. They cook quite tasty, there is both meat and fish, several times they got on crabs, a grill menu. There are always 2 types of soups, although this is not the strong point of Egyptian cuisine. There are dietary options. Lots of sauces. Their sausages are inedible, but they can always be replaced with natural meat. The tomatoes and cucumbers that we are used to were tasteless, in general it seemed that there was some kind of strain with vegetables and fruits. Of the fruits, only melon, oranges, suites, dates were served. These are probably features of the African climate, because in Ukraine there is a much greater variety of crops at this time. A clear disadvantage was the lack of glasses, glasses. Hot drinks were taken from the coffee machine in paper cups, "juices" in coolers - drinks like "yupi" (we even saw how they are bred from powders) in thin plastic cups. Cola, sprite, fanta, tonic - factory. Alcohol and beer - bottles, wine only dry local production from tetrapacks. From cocktails, when there is no queue, they can make very tasty - for example, Jamaica. The best drinks in the Red bar (2nd floor reception).
7. Water park. It is located on the territory of Premier and consists of 2 parts: for children - up to 8 years old and for adults - from 8 and above (min height 130 cm). It consists of 5 slides, it is better to ride on special mats, but again they are not enough for everyone. The big drawback is the stairs: it is very dirty, there is rubbish between the steps, mold from the water . . it's disgusting to go. And, of course, it's strange that the slides are open from 14 to 17. . . it limits the plans very much.
8. Animation. The hotel has aqua aerobics in a light style, disco all day by the pool in Parkland, there is also water polo, in the evenings a good show program in the Roman theater in the form of the Colosseum: from 8/30 to 9 children's mini disco, from 9 to 10 different guest artists - fire show, acrobats, a magician, a show with snakes... then games with the audience. Basically everything for Russian speakers. In general, designed for an audience - couples with children.
9. WiFi. Free - no, and it does not depend on the tour operator, as I read in other reviews. Technically available only in the Premier area (not in the rooms) at a cost of $6 for 7 days.
In general, the holiday was a success, thanks to the positive attitude and perseverance in relation to the staff. If it is difficult to endure the heat, I do not advise you to relax in Egypt in the summer: 40 degrees in the shade and a hot wind restrict any movement, turning leisure into a stay in the pool without alternatives.
