We are a young couple. Arrived with my husband in mid-March (2017). Let me tell you more about the hotel.
Settlement. The first thing that was very upsetting was that there were children (! ) in the hotel, and we specifically opted for this hotel, since it was stated that there would be no children under 16. Further, as usual, we were offered a "better" room for $40 (ridiculous how expensive). We took the usual one. They came to the room. It was not great - a view to nowhere, trees and separate beds (?! ). We returned to the reception. We paid $20 extra and settled in the second building overlooking the pool (3rd floor).
Internet. The hotel costs $10 for one device(! ). Therefore, there are a number of shops across the road from the hotel, we bought a card there ($ 5-6), used it, the connection is good. And in the hotel, they say, the Internet was weak.
We were very pleased with the room (a huge pool nearby, a bar, snacks and a restaurant. But it’s decent to go to the sea).

Number. On its own, it's good. Spacious, comfortable furniture, nice balcony, clean.
Cleaning. We left $ 1 each, and the cleaning was like we were in the Dominican Republic (I have been to many countries, there is something to compare with). Clean, things are folded, figures from towels, bathrobes brought on request).
Pools. There are a lot of them, without heating, there are sooo many sunbeds, you don’t need to borrow. They close early.
Bars. Typical for Egypt, local alcohol. They interfere with the eye, everything is as usual. Near the large pools there are two snack bars. Like pizza, salads, french fries, soups. There is something to eat!
Main restaurant. Food. Good food for Egypt! Very much. But don't expect squid and mussels. Seafood - fish. All. In general, there was always pasta, 2 types of soup, a lot of meat, vegetables - without much variety. Fruits - apples, oranges, melons, dates, bananas and physalis were sometimes added. Sweets are very tasty. Drinks are served during lunch and dinner.
Service. Friendly staff, they speak Russian. On the beach, however, they pester with their spa services, but not much.
Beach and sea. From the main building to go down to the sea - good. Back - a strong slope, for a long time. But, small buses run. Very comfortably. The beach itself is clean. Again, there are a lot of sunbeds, there is enough space for everyone. Entry into the sea - from the pier. A very beautiful reef (again, there is something to compare with. I was in the continental garden reef, where it was just fantastic). There are a lot of fish here, there is no beach to our left, so you can swim far. Very cool! The first three days there was a full moon, it was good, then a tide and there were jellyfish. The locals said that this is always the case in spring. On the last day there were no more jellyfish, the weather let us down a little. On the last day it was cloudy, but it was wonderfully simple. A pleasant moment was that two dolphins swam right to the shore (50 m maximum! ))

Tours. The tour operator took only an excursion to the ATVs. For those who have this experience for the first time - the perfect solution! $10 per person (1 bike). Were slightly upset by the number of people, about 50 people. But in general - the landscapes are very beautiful, the stories are good, we liked it).
When they posted photos on social media. networks with geolocation, we added a local tour operator (Dima). He took an excursion to the island of Tiran (our hotel, by the way, is directly opposite it). $10 per person. The boat is large, in two tiers, 3 places for swimming, meals. I liked it very much. With diving the price is $15. The tour operator is twice as high.
A nice bonus from Jin Apa was a free transfer to Naama Bay (20:00-22:00). This time is enough to take a walk, buy souvenirs, smoke a hookah). Naama bay - empty. There are no tourists on the streets, it became very sad. The Egyptians are hungry, so they invite you into their shops very strongly, but not aggressively, if you refuse with a smile and humor. They didn't smoke hookah there (they promise $1 each, but then they bring crazy bills). We did it at the hotel ($2). Bargain in Naama Bay. Feel free to double the price.
By the way, there is no animation in the hotel! ! Generally. Once a singer came, but, honestly, I sing better at karaoke. It's a little frustrating. There is nothing to do after dinner.
But! If you are looking for a relaxing holiday, a cool reef, a large pool (with a slide : ) ), and you are thinking of diversifying it with a couple of excursions, you will love it. I recommend the hotel, for Egypt it is a good option)
