FOR REST WITH CHILDREN I RECOMMEND
We stayed in January 2019. I’ll write right away - if you are a heat-loving person, then choose another month for relaxation. The weather in January changes every minute: now it’s hot, then a minute later the wind blows everything away. The sea was also cold, despite the fact that we were in a warm bay. There were heated pools (3 pcs, but without slides), but! because of the cold wind (especially when the sun was hiding), they quickly cooled down and therefore call them warm, the tongue does not turn. In the neighboring hotel "Albatros Aqua Blue" (which you can use absolutely free of charge all services) there were two heated pools with children's slides. Wi-fi throughout the territory and in the rooms, only often requests authorization, which is not very convenient.
On this, in principle, the cons end. But on the other hand, a big plus "drew" from all this. Due to the fact that it is not the season, the room from "Standart" has turned into a "Family" room!
Now I will write more about the hotel.
It takes 30 minutes from the airport to the hotel. The settlement takes place within 1-2 hours and it does not matter when you arrive (no need to wait until 14:00). The territory is large and there is something to see, but little greenery, unlike the neighboring hotel. There are many water slides on the territory for every taste and color, there is a place for children to accelerate.
The room was good (settled on the 1st floor) with access to the pool. Room cleaning is carried out superficially, but I didn’t get to the bottom of the dust, because I came to rest, and not to check the cleanliness.
The food, as elsewhere, is up to standard. Shrimps were served once a week, squid twice, and the fish was in stock every day. Fruits and desserts, unfortunately, I was not impressed. From drinks: bottled beer (which is very pleasing! ), they make cocktails at will for both children and adults, the wine was once semi-sweet, and so it was served dry or semi-dry, but, not least, they kept the correct temperature of the wine!
I really liked their french fries (this is from harmful), stewed vegetables, deliciously cooked beef (very juicy and soft), soups, cooked shrimp insanely delicious, but there were spicy vegetables, everything burned. Fresh orange juice is served in the morning (absolutely free). And coffee, first came to the hotel, where it was brewed, and not made from stickers. The waiters and staff are very friendly! In the evening, you can visit two restaurants: the main one and the millennium (something like that), but in the latter the cuisine is different every day. Moroccan restaurant by appointment. Who likes to experiment - worth a visit. A couple walked in front of us, they were not delighted. I even started to worry, but when I went, I did not regret it. I liked it, even repeated my visit.
Lots of entertainment for both children and adults. In the morning, exercises and aerobics, an animator plays with the children. Evening mini disco and some show.
But the declared disco on the territory of the hotel was not, went to a nearby hotel. Drinks there after 00:00 are paid. And there is also a show 1001 nights, which takes place near the main restaurant. I've read a lot of reviews about the smell. The smell is present when you pass by, but not always and not sharp (everything is quite tolerable and not so critical), this is from the horses that participate in this show. You can even ride on them.
Sea. For everyone, this is probably the most important question. The hotel is not even on the second line, but on the third. But, for those who like to walk, this is not a problem - 7 min. walk and see their city in one. Generally speaking, every 30 minutes. there is a free shuttle, so it's not a problem. We drove once, and then walked.
You can go beyond the perimeter of the hotel to their market or go to the Old Town (20 min drive) for 4 dollars. both ways by local taxi. He will take you and pick you up from there.
Despite the bad weather during our trip, the hotel left a good impression and pleasant memories. We will definitely be back, but only in the heat!
