Were in this hotel for 2 weeks in May, me, wife and 3 children.
When we bought the tour, we bought 2 standard rooms.
When we settled in, the hotel itself offered, without surcharges, if we want to change 2 standards for 2 family rooms.
Happy to change. I repeat that there was not even a hint of any surcharge !!!
In general, the hotel is decent, the children did not climb out of the pools and did not get off the slides. Cleaning - on request, our rooms were cleaned every second day.
Everything is new, clean, the pools are also clean.
Of the minuses:
despite the fact that, in the evening, an Arab walked and blew smoke from mosquitoes, mosquitoes were sometimes in the room, and they were small and very quiet, but which bit hoo!
Beach. It seems cool, but you have to adapt to the minibus, which runs every 30 minutes. Not a problem, but to come, wait. . . go. . . and back. . . a trifle, but it takes time.

It’s not bad on the beach, and if you take a couple of buns from the restaurant and throw them into the water (which is forbidden !!! ), then the fish will swim around you in flocks and arrange battles for pieces of the bun.
The water is very clean, in the mask you can see everything at 30-40 meters.
Food: here is the biggest minus. No one will be left hungry, but... in the 2 weeks that we were, the menu almost did not change. There were a couple of evenings when there was an abundance of meat dishes. And also we got on the birthday of the hotel. Then it was great.
And so, everything is all very monotonous. Sausages... probably the cheapest, juices - almost water (but in the mornings there were freshly squeezed juices from melon, agave).
Some of the sweets that were not eaten in the morning and at lunchtime were already present in a different form on the evening menu.
Similarly, some dishes not eaten in the morning and in the afternoon turned into salads, etc. in the evening.
But, you just have to be careful, that's all.
Beer... there was beer, but I would give the beer a solid two on a 5-point scale.
Lobby bar - here you could drink cocktails for days, which they did))).
Overall, the hotel gets a solid 8. If you improve the kitchen a bit and eliminate mosquitoes, you can put 9.
I liked everything.
Will I return to this hotel. . . this is this one-- not going back any time soon. But I will go to another Albatros hotel in Hurghada, simply because I have not been to Hurghada yet. But if I go to Sharm, then 90% that I will be in Albatross again.

The prices there are democratic, there is no need to bargain and they also make small discounts and gifts. Of course, you can save another 20 percent, but for this you need to go to the old city to the market and bargain until you lose your voice. To whom it is OK - go to the old market.

For example, guides sell quads / safari for 25 bucks per head, if you buy on the spot from dudes who rent quads, the price is 6 bucks !!!! ! (But you still need to get to them by taxi). If you buy sea tours from guides, then the price is about 45-60 bucks. The same thing can be bought for 30-35 and sometimes for 20-25, if you surf the Internet a bit.
And most importantly, all the guides are lying about registration, without which the police will tie you up. It's all a lie, fuck and a provocation so that you buy tours from them. Ukrainians do NOT need to register. Only residents of Kazakhstan need it.
And as a summary, a very decent hotel. I recommend it to both children and adults!
