We arrived at the hotel at 18:30, despite the fact that the check-in time for the rooms was 12-14 (in theory, they should have been ready by now), at the reception they told us that the 5 * hotel rooms were full 100%, there were only a few rooms with a view of the "fence / roads" and persistently offered to check into a 4 * hotel for 2 days with subsequent relocation (by the way, I will say that we have come to this hotel for the 3rd time)... From which we categorically refused (apparently, they were waiting for a bribe). Later we were sent to dinner, after which we were settled in rooms of 5 on the first floor. From a hotel where they never even hinted at a tip, we did not expect this.
Otherwise, everything is on a good level... The rooms are clean, cleaned daily, supplies and water replenished. The hotel area is clean. Some pools are heated, while others are cool. In terms of nutrition, everything is at a decent level, there is enough of everything, there are always several types of beef, chicken, fish... One day there were large grilled shrimp. Fruit is also enough. Show 1001 nights is not held. There are noticeably fewer people in the 5th in terms of territory than in the 4th. The beach is a separate topic... If you just lie in the sun and swim, then it will go, if you look at the fish and corals, then no. The toilet on the beach does not work. We used to go a little further beyond the beach of the Albatros Hotel to look at the reef and fish... But now that area has been occupied by locals, and they are asking for money, or almost to the point of a fight they are kicked out of the beach and pushed out of the water, swimming in masks and flippers to those who did not pay (I don’t know how much it is legal).
As a result, I can say that at the moment it makes no sense to settle in the 5th, in the 4th it is no worse and cheaper. Moreover, they let you in at 5 in the afternoon. Speaking of good things. . . There is an agency in a private house across the street from the main entrance to 4-ku. . . A man usually goes out to the road and distributes A4 leaflets with a list of excursions. So he has pretty good prices (we went on ATVs for $10 and on a yacht for $20). . . He and his agency look not very presentable, but as they say "in Egyptian", but the service, prices and excursions are not bad. . . Especially quad bikes. . . We went from him 2 times and we were rolled individually 4 for quite a long time, practically without a grueling ride to the Bedouins.
