This is not the first time we have been vacationing in Egypt, and this is the first time we have encountered such horror.
Let me start by saying that the hotel is old. He needs repairs. The rooms, although large, bright and spacious, are rather tired. Bed linen in rolls, 2 towels per person, terrible wifi.
The main disappointment of this hotel is the food. We understood that this is Egypt and we shouldn’t expect special frills, but it’s not that frills, here you can’t even call some dishes normal food.
Monotonous, not tasty and primitive. The main direction is chicken, like in 3 star hotels. They gave fish but it was either dry, overcooked or bony. Beef, I generally doubt that grilled beef sausages are obviously mixed with something. Paper with beef flavor. The same is true with nuggets on the beach. There is no chicken there, a gray mass in breading (((

I remember earlier in the hotels of Egypt you could taste lamb and shrimp, and fresh pastries from the oven... now only memories remain of this.
They drank alcohol beer - there are no questions to it, diluted wine is poured from plastic half-pots of a dubious spill.
I would divide the population of the hotel as follows: 60% are local Arabs, Egyptians.
5% Russians, Ukrainians.
35% Europeans and Americans.
So they say that wild Russians run around with plates and eat without measure))) no! It was the Arabs who ran with plates of rolls, sweets and all food over the edge. Horror and ignorance. . .
You stand in line for a barbecue so they climb with the whole family without a queue, until you wait for your turn, the entire barbecue is over and so on everywhere. Not pleasant and the mood deteriorated.
About excursions... any trip ends with a pumping out of a tip. They take you specially earlier than the scheduled time and circle for tea and a toilet for money. I didn't like any excursion except Mount Moses. But be careful. Guides leave 2 hours earlier. It is very cold there in the mountains and it starts: a toilet - $1, tea - $2, a warm blanket - $3. Everything is captured.
The only plus and a ray of sunshine in this hotel is the waiter in the restaurant. His name is Said. The man is not tall, very kind and pleasant person. Doesn't work for tips, brings drinks for free, expects nothing in return. This is not a pity to give and I want to thank.
I do not recommend this hotel and Egypt in general to anyone.
