I'll tell you about my impressions. Chose this hotel for the price. The reviews were a little annoying, but the proposed "five" and "four" were even worse in reviews and more expensive in price. In the end, we took the risk, and this is what came of it.
“At the reception they demand 20 bucks for a good view. ” Since they had never encountered such a thing, it was even interesting how this happens. They line up and speak in plain text, while the rest stand and listen? We had it. We flew in for dinner, put our suitcases at the counter, ate everything at different times, and approached separately. In front of the receptionist was a piece of paper with free numbers written by hand, some of which were highlighted with a green marker. The Arab looked up at us with languid eyes and asked which room we wanted, with a view of the pool or the sea. He didn't mention money. We asked for the one where it's quiet, in the end we got the keys to room 1234, highlighted with a green marker (this is important, remember). A porter jumped up, about whom they wrote a lot here, but we fought him off (he grabbed the suitcase three times, we had to tear it out of our hands).
In the room it turned out that we have the notorious "view of the wall. " We have already had to live in a hotel where an additional fee was charged even when ordering a tour for a view of the pool (it was the second line, without a sea view). We did not pay extra then and had a view of the "wall". But that was a completely different matter. Near the terrace there was a front garden with blooming bougainvilleas, then there was a 5 m lawn, figs and bougainvilleas grew near the wall, and decorative lamps hung on the wall itself, under which geckos gathered and caught moths. And it was great. No one climbed under the windows, no music rumbled, no screams came from the pool. Here, the view of the wall looks like this: under the window there is a technical road, a concrete unplastered wall 6 meters high, and behind it is the trash itself - the kitchen of a neighboring hotel with a 24-hour humming and stinking hood. However, if you leaned out to the waist, you could see a triangle-bikini of the sea. But that is not all. There was no light in the room, the TV did not work, there was a puddle of water under the refrigerator.

Went to reception. We were given a frame, he went in, opened the switch (the plugs were knocked out), pulled off the towel, wiped the refrigerator and the puddle on the floor, promised that the refrigerator would be changed tomorrow, and stood at the door. We "thank you, thank you" is worth it. They pushed me out only when I got a chocolate bar. Half an hour after he left, there was water again on the floor, and it turned out that it was flowing from the ceiling. They didn’t sleep all night - every second there was a “drip, drip, drip”. In the morning we splashed through a puddle and went to the reception without waiting for a meeting with the guide (on the bus we were told that the guide would solve the issues of changing the room for free), but we had no strength to listen to this drop.
The receptionist suggested another room. (For free). Let's go look. It had a better view of the pool and the sea, but it was about the size of half a headache pill (half the size of that one, you had to squeeze sideways between the beds and the table). But most importantly, it did not have a terrace, and since we are smokers, this was important for us. So they refused and asked for something else. We were told that there were no available rooms and promised to send a repairman. He came along with the cleaner, opened the false ceiling, from where a stream of water poured onto him. While they were busy there, we went to meet the guide Abdul and they also complained to him that water was flowing and we wanted another room. He promised to resolve the issue after the meeting, but disappeared somewhere. And we again went to the reception desk and again asked for the room. We were told that there were no free ones, but everything was repaired. We came to the room, there was no water on the floor, nothing was dripping, but suddenly they called on the phone and said to come at 2 o’clock, they would give another number (apparently, the guide turned on, for which special thanks to him). At 2 o'clock we approach, they give the keys to room 2218. We go in: a magnificent view of the sea, a terrace, everything is as it should be, and at no extra charge.
I summarize: 1. It cannot be said that all of ours are settled exclusively in bad rooms, the tourists who flew in with us came across both a sea view and a view of the pool, but they also had to ask for a replacement due to various breakdowns. 2. Most likely, the numbers highlighted with a green marker will be bad. 3. “On the wall” there are even numbers approximately the same from 1110-1112 to 1120-26 (1st floor), 1226.1228 and up to 124.2nd floor. The odd ones will be with pool view. If you want, change immediately, only when you see the keys.
But let's move on

"The hotel is tired. " 1. She is frankly skinned. In all three rooms, hair dryers were taped. Curtains in bald spots. 2. It was still being built by Krivorukov builders. Suspended ceilings are everywhere at random, the curbs are laid crookedly - a lot of cement and few stones, the tiles in the bathrooms were laid already broken, from pieces, the architect of the project generally needs to tear his hands off for such a layout. 3. The kind of raggedness creates color - doors and furniture "under the tree", but green. Reminiscent of a country toilet, from which the green paint has peeled off, but before that it managed to eat into the wood. Of the pluses - excellent linen, in our room there was a good cooling mini-bar and the most valuable thing - the doors open with a key, not a card, and the keychain that turns on the light is on the ring, not soldered. Those. removed the key from the ring, and leave the key fob in place, as a result, when you leave, the light does not turn off, the air conditioner, charging, and refrigerator continue to work. However, this key fob still did not work for us, nothing turned off both with it and without it.
Of the minuses - a very noisy air conditioner, buzzing like a beast.
The territory is so-so, the lawns are all weeds. Lots of empty lots where nothing is growing yet. The cleaners walk around picking the majors to decorate the towel figures with petals. Unpleasantly, all the flowers are broken off.
"Cleaners are rare condoms. " Oh yeah. “Why clean up like that, it’s better not to clean up at all, ” we heard this from everyone. We had even more. The janitor stupidly catches when you enter the room or walk along the corridor and rushes with his cart, drumming on the door: “Do you need cleaning? ” The first couple of days they refused, it was clean, but on the third they said that they needed it. Deaf. The fourth, fifth, sixth day passed according to the same scenario. We see him, he asks "Cleaning is necessary", we say "yes", and that's it. On the seventh day, I already started to boil. And then she jumped in from the beach for cigarettes, drumming: “Do you need cleaning? ” Yes, I say I must. And I wanted to go to the sea. Doesn't let me in, stay here, he says. “Do I have to be in the room during cleaning? ” I ask. "Yes". And leaves. He dragged the cart, put it in the doorway, got water in the toilet and left. Sat waiting for 10 minutes. Doesn't work. I look out, he is chatting with a colleague in the corridor. They are chattering, laughing, waving their hands. I left the room, sat on the railing, and waited. He squinted, and continues to rattle. She waited a couple more minutes, freaked out, slammed the door and went to the sea. I come back before dinner, looks out of my closet: “Is it necessary to clean? ”. Then I freaked out, I come up and say: “I'll go to the manager now. Not at the reception, but to the manager, I’ll bring him here by the hand, and let him tell you whether I should be in the room during cleaning, how often you should clean, how often and what you should do. ” An impudent grin fell from his face, he trotted into the room, grabbed a whisk and began carefully sweeping the corners on the balcony. I forgot about the middle. And every second: "Okay? , okay? " He waved a wet rag on the floor inside (without sweeping it), changed the towels and jumped out of the room. This is their entire cleaning, regardless of the tip, many complained. They don’t sweep sand away, I advise people with strong nerves to look into the drain in the bathroom (I personally picked out a skein of hair mixed with sand, threads and some black slimy crap with a stick), otherwise the water would not drain at all. After that, the impudent grin left his face, but he never cleaned the room. I saw that he forced many to be present during the cleaning, maybe it was the hotel’s policy so that there was no theft, but at the same time, people in other buildings were cleaned, albeit badly, but in their absence. As it should be.

By the way, about theft. We heard that a swimsuit was stolen from a girl from a balcony on the second floor (tied, it could not be blown away by the wind). We locked money, passports and a mask (I have a very expensive one) with a combination lock in a suitcase, we did not use the safe.
Mosquito shaft. At 3 a. m. , a buzzing woke up - a frame with a “pickle” passed, it buzzed and stank before dinner. Helped little. In the evening they just ate. We took a fumigator, but they did not fly into the room, but if you plan to walk in the evening, take sprays or ointment.
Swimming pool. And here I unexpectedly add, although in the presence of the sea I can climb into the pool once and only to take a picture. But here we arrived late, the evening was stuffy, and when we went out to the promenade at 10 pm, we saw that people were swimming in it. The administration closes its eyes, they don’t really expel them (only those who are furious and noisy), but in general they swam in it late in the evening and until the morning. Warm water. They also complained that the bottom cover was old, but we liked it - not slippery.
"Perfect Reef" Well, that's it. Who for the first time or does not risk moving away from the pontoon more than 3 m will be impressed. There are fish, heaps of surgeons, sergeants, butterflies and other banality, but few rarities. I spent hours at sea, swam behind the pontoons of other hotels, looked into every cave in the hope of an exclusive. Even moray eels were not found, they say, rarely sails. From the exotic, I found a couple of caves where lionfish lived, in the region of 11-12 a large tuna sailed under the pier, saw a Napoleon, a triggerfish (I always thought that the fragments of coral at the bottom were the machinations of redneck tourists, until he bit off a huge branch in front of my eyes) , barracuda. Once two huge black eagle stingrays entered the shallow water - a meter and a half one and about a meter two. Another gift was made by a sea urchin (which is a fish). I saw them for the first time, but I thought that I had identified them incorrectly, since the needles are not visible when it is deflated. Swimming tadpoles with big sad eyes. And once out of the corner of my eye I noticed how it turned into a round ball with militantly protruding needles. What scared him so much remained a mystery, since they do not react to bathers and do not inflate.

"Food, or you won't stay hungry. " The first time I got there for lunch and dinner, I was a little shocked. Somehow they got used to the fact that there are more of these trays, you walk around, slam them, but there is nothing to choose from. And here there are only 2 types of meat dishes, about five designs with a side dish, two types of fruit. But cooked deliciously, rice moderately salted, delicious asparagus in tomato sauce. Pasta is not very sticky. The potato is ugly (a variety, most likely, such). Chicken for lunch and dinner, but each meal is a new serving - different spices, roasting. Once they served buffalo meat (so they said, and we are inclined to believe, not beef or lamb for sure), twice duck. Delicious cream soups. The biggest disappointment is the fish. In Egypt, we always liked it (cannot be compared with Turkey), they served sea bass, sea bream, and other marine species. But there was a smelly mackerel, which I can not stand for its specific taste. And carp. Bitter and salty. Only once they gave a normal fish fillet. However, the mackerel fit in well - a dozen cats and kittens run around the market, skinny and hungry, they went to feed them. At breakfast they took sausage, it’s impossible to eat it anyway, mackerel or liver (beef, bitter and tough), and in the evening they went to feed the cats. If it's not difficult for anyone, feed them. They are not allowed to take it out of the dining room, but this is if you defiantly carry something in a napkin or in a bowl in your hands. If put in a bag, no one checks anything.
By the way, in the market, don't admit it when you leave, otherwise you'll find on the eve of your departure that all prices are double or triple and without any discounts. We went for a week, the mango was 1 dollar each, and when we wanted to buy a few kg before leaving, we broke it down for 3. Pepper - 4 instead of 1.5. I had to appeal to the conscience of the owner. Still sold for a dollar.
In general, if Queen Sharm suits you for the price or already has a tour on hand, you can go, it's okay.
