We rested in Egypt for the 8th time (there were also 5 * and 4 * and 3 * hotels) and we consider ourselves unpretentious tourists, but for the first time we were disappointed with what was offered on the site by the tour operator and what we saw in reality, and especially with an indifferent attitude and constant deception by the tourist staff.

In order: We chose a hotel in the first line so that you can swim for your grandson with slides. In fact, it turned out that the entry into the sea is stones, the water depth is 30-50 cm, and after 10 meters there are buoys, because corals and stones stretch into the sea for 30 meters. A myriad of sea urchins are already three meters from the coastline. Neither adults come in nor small children splash around! The pontoon has been in a dilapidated state since February, but with us it was completely torn off and there was no entrance as such. Those who made their way to the pontoon huddled on a platform 5x3 meters with one ladder into the sea ...

Beach towels - there is no separate point of issue on the beach, you must get it from the staff who clean the rooms and who are never there. ATTENTION - in order to reach the hotel reception from the shore, you need to overcome about 150 steps!

The first line (from the sea) of the hotel is not working, the pools are without water, the bar is not deployed, the theater area is littered with rubbish, the elevator does not work ...Separate rooms are inhabited, in which semi-working plumbing, old (unregulated) air conditioners and old TVs in which only one local channel. Clouds of mosquitoes that no one tries to destroy. The beach is sandy, there are free sunbeds (because the hotel is half empty), but there are not enough sunbeds with mattresses for everyone.

The second line is working, a pool with water, but only one of the three slides (the simplest one), a working bar (water, instant drinks like yupi (no natural juices) and alcohol (local) is available.
The rooms have adjustable air conditioners, flat-screen TVs, plumbing a little better. Mosquitoes are poisoned on this line once a day.

The restaurant of the hotel is one for everyone, respectively, even with a small load of the hotel - QUEUES! For the first time we discovered that in a 4 * hotel there are no tags with the names (and composition) of the dishes offered! A lot of food was served burnt, and grilled sausages and pieces of chicken were half-burnt! The only good thing was the beef goulash. Who likes to eat You have nothing to do here!

Reception and staff are completely unprofessional. Everyone wants to speak Russian, which they don’t know, only one administrator, Ibrahim, knew English, for which respect to him, no one knows the Ukrainian language, and this despite the fact that Ukrainians have been the majority among vacationers after local tourists in the last 5-6 years! Administrator Hassan (Hussein) openly lies and promises without doing anything and not even writing it down!

They settled us in a room where there were only two beds instead of three, respectively, without towels, a TV that didn’t work, an air conditioner that drove mosquitoes from the street into the room, broken plumbing, a non-working phone, etc. in the second building of the first line, which was actually not populated...

We waited for the room for 1.5 hours, and this despite the fact that we were the only tourists who checked in from the evening flight. Tell me why the phone - and three times back and forth 150 steps up and down (total 900 steps) to put a third bed! Only on the fourth day we were moved to a living room. Even if you pay, this is not a guarantee that you will receive the service that you should receive anyway! Everyone promises, they say wait and disappear! DO NOT pay until you receive the service! DO NOT move in if the room does not have what you paid for!
At the first meeting, we told the guide Ahmed (ANEX TOUR tour operator) about the problems we encountered at the hotel, but there was no response and no help!

We checked in at 21:00 and when we checked out we were sure that on the day of departure (departure from the hotel at 15:25) we could use the restaurant and bar. But it wasn’t there - at 12:00 when we checked in, they cut off our bracelets (this happened for the first time in 8 trips to Egypt) and they didn’t let us into the restaurant and tried to make us pay for dinner, and the administrator Hassan (Hussein) said that we only have the right to drink water.

I recommend this hotel only to those who like to lie in the sun and overcome obstacles (150 steps at least 3 times (up and down in total 900) a day, as well as to everyone who does not like swimming, does not like good food, does not like natural juices, does not loves comfort and cleanliness in the room, does not want them and their children to swim in the sea and ride the slides, as well as those who do not want to be respected!
