arrived at 1 o'clock in the morning (the previous day was completely lost, these were the flights of the airline), they offered a choice of 2 rooms to look at - one with a view of Ch. terrace of the restaurant in building 18 and 2 in building 11 overlooking a piece of the sea, but mostly the desert between the hotel and Rixos. Chose 18 building.
Room: the rooms and the buildings themselves are very well designed by the architect, I would say that there is ergonomics in everything. The room is medium in size (I have seen more standards), but very well designed. It has, as it were, a bedroom and living room area, a corridor area with a closet, a spacious terrace open on 3 sides and without neighbors. Since we were on the 2nd floor of a 2-story building, the ceilings were domed. Nice and adds space. There is a safe, instead of shampoos in the shower there is a "hanging" liquid soap. The bar is replenished as needed.

Meals: I can’t even speak as I remember. There was no better food in Egypt, Turkey (it was in Greece or in other hotels where there were culinary "highlights" sometimes). There is a huge selection of everything and most importantly, everything is very tasty! Believe me, for Egypt, which is not very famous for its delicious food, Magic Life is some kind of continuous celebration of the stomach. I will not enumerate, there will be a lot of text. Every day, a different theme for dinner, and the most interesting thing is that by changing the curtains in the restaurant and napkins and tablecloths, the hotel staff ensures that every evening you come, as it were, to a different restaurant. Separately, I would like to note the interior of the restaurant, it is very nice and inside, again, the location of numerous tables in niches or behind the columns is very convenient, which creates an atmosphere of comfort and you do not see another 40 tables and people eating there. You can absorb goodies for a long time and with pleasure, red wine - again, also ordinary and ordinary, but much better than in many hotels in Egypt. There was no watermelon, but they ate melon 3 times a day.
Relax pool: as we love a quiet holiday, we were there. at 7-30 po1ti for breakfast and at 8- already be by the pool. Almost all the places are already occupied, about 5 percent of people. From 8 to 10 sometimes up to 11 - it's really relaxing, there are few people and an almost empty pool, you can swim at your leisure. By 11-12, the owners of the reserved seats are pulled up and sit until the evening. It becomes quite noisy and in the very heat, as a rule, units disperse (these are people like us). I'll make a quick digression:
The contingent is mostly English-speaking, then Poles, sometimes (Germans and Russian speakers are rare). For example, we were the only ones at the pool. We met with Russian speakers mainly in a restaurant or in the evening at the animation. After sitting in the pool for 3 days (there was a strong wind and a red flag), there is no feeling that you are at sea. We go to Egypt for some reason, to see the Red Sea and fish, and the pool....for us it’s not the main thing at all. The reef is strange, I’ll explain: it starts where the pontoon ends, the depth is at least 20 m, or even under 30 ( there was only one day without waves and the bottom was slightly visible). When the waves swim close to the edge of the reef, it’s not comfortable, there are a lot of large fish, but it’s over the reef and it’s far away, it’s bad to photograph, down in the depths, it’s also bad, the sun is always on the wrong side. It is better to swim in the morning, so the tide is out.......The best way to see the fish is when you walk along the pontoon, there are a lot of parrots and surgeons, Picasso, even a moray eel was seen from the pontoon. You can also enter from the shore, there is a sandy strip, but it is shallow there (maximum to the waist), but many sit like hippos there (the water is like in a bathroom). You can also swim there with a mask, there are a lot of fish, but due to the fact that it is shallow, it is also not very convenient. Unless children learn to swim with a mask. Many very large colonies of sea urchins.
Animation: not fans of animation, but the evening dance shows in the amphitheater really liked. All at a high level and the costumes and lighting.
The main pool: we just passed by, there are a lot of people there, it’s just not an empty place, the music is blaring and there are daytime animations.

What surprised us unpleasantly was the crazy humidity of the air. It was the only thing that spoiled our holiday. Perhaps this is the specificity of the rest in August, or vice versa due to the abundance of greenery, which in the evening gives up its moisture. It was terrible (in the morning and in the evening, leaving the room on the balcony, there was a feeling that you were going into the saina). During the day, when it was over 40 degrees and hot, it was much easier for me to endure the heat than the humidity. In August, not a single foot in Egypt.
I’ll also add about the dress code: for dinner everyone comes in shorts and flip flops (foreigners) and only ours and sometimes the Germans try to dress somehow more decently. And another respected hotel administration: enter the evening dress code in the restaurant, no one talks about evening dresses, but I think beach shoes and clothes are not acceptable at dinner. And since the hours were changed in Egypt from August 1, extend the swimming time from the pontoon from 18-00 to 19-00 (as on the neighboring Amway pontoon) at this time it is still very light and the sea calms down and it would be a pleasure to swim and figure out how to attract people to the beach for you, this will only be a plus. We also had a late flight and we extended our stay in the room until 18-00 ($ 55), we would have extended it to 21-00 (for a surcharge), but we were refused.
