We visited this hotel in December 2008. The impressions were entirely positive. The impression was spoiled by the reception upon arrival. They openly extorted 50 euros per room. They refused with contempt. They kept them in the lobby for 5 hours, which completely ruined the day of rest. The rooms were given only after pressure from Moscow from the travel agency. It is impossible to find the hotel administrator and at the reception they feel absolutely impunity.
A few words about the food. For Egypt, it is quite good and varied. Every day a new stylized cuisine, but it is difficult to find something to feed a 5 year old child.

The choice of drinks in the bar is quite wide, and if you send 5-10 tanks to the bartender, then the drinks will be provided to you not in meager doses, but at your request and from bottles taken from somewhere in the bowels of the bar and opened in your presence.
If you go to this hotel beyond the famous sea, then this is clearly not here. The sea is very modest, there are few fish, swimming is allowed in a circle with a radius of 10 meters. Entry only from a pontoon.
