The hotel was selected by a tour operator. There was a requirement: five stars and a sandy entrance to the sea. As it turned out, neither one nor the other.
The hotel itself is located in the Nabq area, which is already alarming, but it met the requirements. We have never been in this area of Sharma before, the reviews are positive - we decided to take a chance.
The hotel is large, well maintained, but a very confusing path system - the first two days never went in the same direction twice on the same path. Settled quickly, but the room with two beds turned out to be a room with one bed and two mattresses. The room itself is old and poorly cleaned. But there was no other way and we were very tired. OK. WiFi is everywhere except the lobby and the toilet : ) The bathroom itself is decorated according to the usual Egyptian standards, but the shower is small - the size of a double wardrobe. In general, the impression of a five-star from the number is not left.

Sea. There is a sandy entry into the sea, but you can go in up to your knees. The beach turns into a coral field, which at low tide is almost completely exposed to the reef. Low tide starts after breakfast and ends in the afternoon. In the morning, because of the wind along the reef, the current and the red flag. At high tide, there are a lot of surgeon fish in the coral field, systematically saw coral snakes. For those who do not swim well, there is no opportunity to take a dip. Only pools. The reef itself is weak in both corals and fish.
The food is good and varied. Seafood daily. But the cuisine also suffers from the main disease of Egyptian hotels - yesterday's products are transferred to today's menu.
There were entertainment events, but they did not cause much emotion.
I can recommend the hotel to lovers of beach-pool-bar rest, the rest - to other areas of Sharm and Egypt.
