Well, it’s probably worth starting with the fact that we are in Egypt and Hurghada for the 3rd time! (family with child)
I am in this hotel for the 2nd time, since last year we were in this hotel and we really liked it (although I categorically do not like to go to the same hotel a second time).
I must say right away that the hotel requires reconstruction, since it is already 9 years old. And nothing has changed since last year.
This time we were placed in the 2nd building (that year we were in the 4th).
We were immediately upset when we entered the room! I have attached a photo, you can see!
Given that we are the second time in this hotel and we have something to compare with - this room was "to put it mildly" not very good.
There was dust on half a finger everywhere, it seems that no one came into this room for a month. Well, we are not proud people - wiping the dust in our room is not a problem for us. The question is, why didn't they prepare the room for us before check-in?

But looking at the general view of the room, at the lamp without legs that is on the switch, at the front door with drips and a large hole at the bottom, at the rotten shelf under the refrigerator, at the drips in the toilet, at the walls from which the plaster is about to fall off, on an armchair that was gutted downstairs, on a sunbed on the balcony, from which the paint sticks to the body - we decided to go to the reception and change the room. (That's not to mention the stains on the curtains, tulle and sheet).
At the reception we were told that 93% of the hotel is occupied and there are no rooms!
The next day, through a guide (from AnexTour), I still managed to get a change of room, but already in the 3rd building. It's as old as the second one, but at least it didn't have all the problems I described above!
The territory of the hotel, as always, is beautiful and well-groomed.
The service staff is always friendly and polite, to every gardener, cleaner or waiter. To the waiters of the restaurant "Tortuga" - especially respect and respect! I have never seen such great service. Especially "Abdul", a great person.
Food: the food was very good, there was everything that was needed, but after 10 days it got a little fed up, since there is practically no variety (but this is not a problem at all)
In the evening in the restaurant "Tortuga" there is almost always classical "live" music.
Sea: gorgeous, this is the best hotel for children, the entrance to the sea is gradual, the sand. Basically, we came here for him.
Animation: at the highest level. If not for the animators - it would be boring. These guys do a great job of enhancing the atmosphere of the hotel + the mini disco and evening show round off a great day at the hotel.
Children's animation: Willow is very good, children are drawn to her! If not for her, then the children would be bored!
Of the animators: Katya, Julia, Zizo, Lito, Karim, Sasha - I express my deep gratitude to them for their excellent mood!
And now I'll add a fly in the ointment:

The sellers who are located on the territory of the hotel are constantly annoying, they always pull you to buy something from them, even if you don’t need anything. And so constantly... you go for breakfast, lunch or dinner - they pester you, you come back - they pester you, you walk around the territory - they pester you! This is some kind of nightmare. I came with my family once a year to relax and enjoy nature, the sea and a quiet walk through the incredibly beautiful territory of the hotel, in the end I could ventilate from work - but they don’t give it to me here either! We had to take a different route around them and try not to look at them when we passed by.
Everything would be fine, we would have endured it too, if not for 2 cases:
1. Bar on the beach "Cuba". My child (a 4 year old girl) sat down in a chair and waited for my wife to hand over the towel and come over to her. At that moment, one of the employees of this bar approached her and began to play with her (touch her nose, cheeks). It's all right, our child likes it when they play with her like that.
BUT!! ! After that, he points his finger at the child's lips, and then at his own lips (supposedly asking the child to kiss him on the lips !!! ) My wife came up behind me, seeing this - she gave him a neck! It is a pity that I did not see it - I would not only give him a neck! Of course, I understand everything, the Egyptians are very fond of children, and our girl plays well with them, but kissing on the lips is EXCESSIVE!!! ! (Of course, I don’t know, maybe this employee had other motives, but we VERY didn’t like it and left a stain on the hotel’s reputation! )
2. Men, if you come with your wives or girls - do not let them go shopping on the hotel premises. These sellers, moreover, with their eyes "eat away" all the female places on the body, they also invite to their store, shower with compliments, say that she is the best in the whole hotel, that she is a goddess, there are no such places anywhere, and so on... and they do it with everyone. Then, they dress up in their clothes and say let me take a picture of you, and they take pictures on their phone and say give me your number - I will send you pictures in viber. And as soon as the girl gave her number, he sent pictures - then calls begin, flirting in viber. This is all half the trouble, since my wife immediately says in what cases, that now her husband will come and tell everything, if not for one thing, BUT. One smart guy said: "So you come to the hotel next time without your husband. "

Well, guys, this is already too much, this is a direct allusion to the harassment of my wife. Of course, I won’t write here what I did, but after that I don’t write or call!
But the very fact of such behavior of sellers put a huge stain on the reputation of the hotel. And it is precisely because of such sellers that I will not go to this hotel for the third time, and even if I recommend it only to a male company!
To summarize: the rest was a success, yes, there were shortcomings - but we turned a blind eye to many things, but in the end we came to rest, and not to poke our fingers at minor shortcomings. Big flaws - I voiced above. Everyone was in a good mood, everyone will like the rest. (I was only strained by the 2 above situations)
From the ratings: I can give the hotel itself a solid 4-ku, if you remove the sellers from the hotel and do a complete reconstruction of the rooms - I would immediately put 5 points and call it the best hotel in Hurghada! But, alas….
