Who does the author recommend the hotel to?: For a relaxing holiday; For families with children
I rarely write reviews. But now I consider it necessary to provide the following information to those tourists who are going to choose a CWR hotel for their vacation. I want to note right away that I am more than an unpretentious client of Egyptian (Ukrainian, Turkish... ) hotels and I always try not to notice those shortcomings that could negatively affect the quality of rest. But this time somehow it didn't work. . . sorry. . .
So, I will try to state the information briefly and without any emotions:
1. ROOMS - far from new, but everything is in good condition (before settling, I paid $ 25 and all my wishes regarding the settlement were taken into account). Beds and towels are perfectly clean. Everything works fine, no complaints.
2. TERRITORY - clean, everything is clean and green. One heated pool - water +28', in the water park +22'.

3. WEATHER - winter, it is winter in Africa too. The air during the day warms up to a maximum of +24', the sea +22'-23' (considering the wind, it's cold to swim). It is comfortable to be on the beach only from 10.00 to a maximum of 15.30. Do not forget warm clothes, early in the morning and after 18.30 it is really cold.
4. BEACH - very large, more than enough sunbeds and umbrellas. The sand is dirty - BUGS EVERYWHERE, garbage, food leftovers, racks filled to capacity to collect dirty dishes. Together with towels, IMMEDIATELY take the red flag! Otherwise, you will not have any opportunity to calmly sunbathe for two minutes! Sellers are just an endless stream. Outside the beach (if you go to the left / right side) everywhere is horse, camel dung, which no one cleans up.
5. SEA - clean, not deep, the entrance is gentle. There are NO corals and fish in the sea.
6. SERVICE. To begin with, it should be noted that the hotel has organized a multifaceted system of color differentiation of tourists: there are bracelets in blue, black, red, gold, pink... colors. For the Slavs - blue bracelets. I can’t write anything about the attitude towards their owners, on the part of the service personnel. It is simply ABSENT ("absent" from the word ABSOLUTELY). You simply do not exist, all attention is given only to foreigners. If you think baksheesh is going to make a big difference, it's not. In this hotel $ 1 - no one counts as a tip. Of course they are taken, but you should have seen those condescending smiles on the faces of the attendants. All bars have huge blue tip boxes. So, if you didn’t put anything there, then EVERY TIME you leave the bar you will have to hear a “hiss” in Arabic, the content of which can only be guessed at. This is very annoying!
7. HOTEL CONTINGENT - 60% foreign pensioners, 40% parents with children (French, Italians, Poles, Germans. . . ).
8. SMOKING AREAS. They simply don't exist. EVERYONE EVERYWHERE smokes. . . on the beach, near the pool, in all bars, including the Lobby. That is why you simply will not have any opportunity to breathe clean air!

9. FOOD. The variety of dishes in the dining room is large, but there is NOTHING to choose for food! Of the variety, only the following dishes are edible: scrambled eggs, salads, fries, chicken, cake (only twice), vermicelli, yogurt, jams. It's all! Alcohol, especially wine, is just disgusting quality.
I admit that such a deplorable state of affairs in the field of nutrition is partly justified by the low season. But pastries could be made normal regardless of the season. There is only one continuous YESTERDAY, not tasty, STICKY puff pastry!... there are simply no words. . .
10. EXCURSIONS. The tour operator bought two tours to Luxor and Cairo. Unfortunately, the time spent at historical sites amounted to less than 30% of the total time spent in these cities. 70% of the time the tour operator DRAGGES you around souvenir shops and shops. It's just some trash. . . ! The guides all the way do nothing but try to sell you some garbage - tea, coffee, cane honey... A complete mess!
Before buying these excursions, please think 100 times whether it is worth spending time and effort on tiring journeys (to Luxor - 4 hours one way, to Cairo - about 7).
In the immediate vicinity of the hotel buildings there is a bar "Jamaica". From 19.00 to 23.00 live music is organized in it, which is heard not only by 10 visitors to this bar, but also by all other guests. Therefore, you will have the opportunity to go to bed and fall asleep only after the completion of the program!
Thank you for reading this review to the end! If you have any questions, please write, I will answer with pleasure!
I wish you all the right choice of place and time of rest!
P. S. Dear hotel management, please do not bother to respond to this review. Direct your energy to correct these shortcomings. Thank you very much for not commenting!
