Huge plus:
1. Beach - we lived almost on the beach, i. e. stepped over the balcony (lived on the 1st floor) and found themselves on the beach. Feelings - indescribable, waking up and falling asleep to the sound of the waves of the sea, which is 10 meters away - it's amazing. At first they wanted to live on the 2nd floor, but we didn’t have enough places and settled on the 1st floor - we never regretted it, because. the door was used 2 times: during check-in and check-out) they walked through the balcony, constantly sat on the beach).
Also a huge plus is the size of the beach. We set up sunbeds so that no one lay close to us a few meters away. You can go to a slightly abandoned beach - there are no people at all.
2. The view is amazing, in front of the island of the Pharaohs, Jordan, Israel against the background of the mountains... the island looks beautiful during the day, at night - the illumination of cities on the opposite coast

If you walk around Aqaba in the evening, dress with the knowledge that you are in a Muslim country, where women walk with their heads covered. I was wedged there, but the guide did not warn me, and I went for a walk in a denim skirt and T-shirt and felt, to put it mildly, uncomfortable...
6. The sea - the entrance is smooth, even too 1 km from the coast you will still be up to your chest, and this despite the fact that my height is 1.68 : ). But it is very calm for those who do not swim well. A beautiful reef near the shore (we saw colorful fish, moray eels), it was a bit dumb, because hedgehogs on a reef somewhere knee-high (I used to think that a hedgehog is a cute creature the size of a maximum of two fists) with a total depth of 1.2 m, it’s somehow dumb to hook it with your stomach, but it worked out, there are a lot of impressions))) flippers and a mask can be bought on the spot for $ 7-10 in shops on the territory of the hotel...
Of the minuses:
1. The food is average - you won’t die of hunger, but you won’t be delighted either, there are few fruits (in May there were bananas, oranges and quince and only one of them), good wines, local gin.
2. Rooms could be better. Of the animals, ants (in small numbers) and mosquitoes (in wild numbers both on the coast and in the room - they constantly interfered with sleep and did not let me sleep on the shore) were seen. In general, everything in the room is mediocre - the bath is yellowish, slightly clogged (the reception is not very helpful, but we actively did not swear), the towels are grayish, the windows are dirty, etc. if you don’t find fault - everything is fine, they changed everything every day, they cleaned it normally, they didn’t strain us with cleaning.

Hotel guide from Pegasus - we got the impression that she was constantly stoned or something like that, she didn’t have tourists in the hotel except for us, she constantly hung out in our hotel and at the same time all the time (tobish, every day) didn’t recognize us - it was touching, she tried to take a cash deposit for a trip to Israel (we weren’t seduced and very well, because I think that we would hardly be able to return it, she constantly confused the time of our meeting on the eve of the trip I generally forgot that we were going - in short, we were chasing after her all the time and we didn’t feel any care for us, there weren’t any practical tips either, she sold us the Israel + Jordan tour on the 1st day and the relationship was exhausted...
