We rested in Lloret de Mar from August 18 to August 25.2010. Tour operator Tez tour. I must say right away that the flight was delayed there for 1.5 hours, back for an hour. Yakutia Airlines. It turned out that we arrived at the hotel at 21:00, lost a lot of time. The most convenient, of course, morning flights. There are no more claims to the tour operator. Everything was up to par!
This is just a chic place and a chic country to relax!
First, about the hotel: we stayed at the Marsol Hotel, 4 stars. The hotel is generally good. Of the pluses, this is the best location (in the city center, right next to the sea). Those. there are very few hotels located right by the sea. Sea across the road. The obvious disadvantages are the lack of balconies and sea views in most rooms. Only 20 rooms look at the sea and with balconies (as I understand it, superior comfort), and everyone with standard reservations is accommodated in rooms overlooking the wall and a narrow street. And without a balcony it's bad and uncomfortable! It is worth considering this factor when booking. Also, the hotel has no territory at all, it's just a building. There is a cozy swimming pool on the roof. The restaurant is also in the building, with large windows, on the 2nd floor. Those. do not sit on the terrace either. I also didn't like that the sheets were changed once in a week. But otherwise everything is fine, the staff is friendly, there is a Russian boy at the Reception. Food: breakfast is almost always the same, but what is most interesting, they pour champagne! A very nice addition  For dinner: the choice is small, but in principle everything is delicious, there is always ice cream and fruit. The hotel, I would say, Russian-speaking, most of the guests were Russian! Everywhere, in the elevator, in the restaurant... There are a lot of compatriots (they are generally full in Lloret). In general, the impression of the hotel is good.

Now about the place of rest: I liked it very much! Gorgeous, wide beach, clear sea. Almost immediately the depth, with children is not very convenient. The beach is located, as it were, in a bay, along the edges - rocks with paved paths. Walking there is just super, there is a very beautiful castle, a visiting card of Lloret. The views are awesome, rocks, sea, greenery, you must definitely take a walk in one direction and in the second. The city itself is a hotbed of tourism. In August - there were crowds of people everywhere, on the streets, on the beach, day and night. If you like it quieter, it's better not to go here. Active, not falling asleep town And of course, this is a city of discos! A LOT of clubs, party youth, flyers are handed out to girls on the street, people are walking! I advise everyone to cafes on the beach - they pour cocktails of 1l and 2l! So big, beautiful and delicious! Only in the evening it was not overcrowded, we walked during the day.
An extensive excursion program is also offered. Of course you need to go to Barcelona! Unfortunately, Tez tour does not offer such an excursion - first sightseeing of Barcelona, free time and Dancing Fountains. There is only free time + Fotans, just an overview, and Barcelona sports + shopping. It is very uncomfortable! We took free time + fountains, walked around the city for 5 hours, took the subway to the Sagrada Familia. The Gothic Quarter, La Rambla Boulevard, the Cathedral, Plaza Catalunya, the Port… Very interesting, unusual and beautiful, the Middle Ages are intertwined with the buildings of the 19th century. And with modern skyscrapers! Of course, we did not manage to do everything. For good, you need to devote the whole day only to Barcelona, and better not just one! There is a very convenient Bus-tourist bus, as in all major European cities. And of course, the fountain show in the Plaza de Españ a! There are also crowds of people, but awesomely beautiful, lighting, music, water... Impressed! From Barcelona it is impossible to get to your hotel after 20:00, so the only option is to book an excursion.
We also went on an excursion - The World of Salvador Dali. Very informative and interesting! But my friends advised me to go on a Night Dali tour - a visit to the museum at 21:00 with evening illumination. Unfortunately, we didn't get the schedule. This is a very unusual museum, such art seems like nonsense to someone (sometimes it seemed to me too), but nevertheless, taking a walk there, trying to unravel, seeing something of your own in the picture is exciting. Then we were taken to the castle of his Russian wife Gala, a beautiful place. And finally, the tasting! 30 barrels of wine and 10 types of liqueurs are no joke Everyone rolls out drunk from there And, of course, you can buy something home.
And finally, we went to the Flamenco show! It was just awesome! First they serve a delicious dinner, wine and champagne flow like water. And then the show itself. Performs tenor, guitarist, and the dancers themselves. The soloist beats the shot - something unforgettable. Beautiful music, lighting, costumes… I liked it very much! The mood was the best!

A week was not enough, there is still so much to go and see... Boat cruises, Port Aventura, climb around Barcelona, visit the botanical gardens... I hope to return to Spain again and I advise everyone to stay in this sunny country
