Everything is fine, one "but" is ceramic floors and compatriots vacationing. Our ladies consider it the height of grace to walk in heels with metal heels, clattering on the heads of vacationers even at two in the morning. Conclusion - you need to take the last floor, but still, you won’t escape from ours, the sound insulation is weak and we hear at seven in the morning who needs to be fired and what idiots they all are. Although a Spanish grandmother lived in the next room with three young grandchildren, who were not heard at all. Upbringing.
If not for this noise, then the rest would be the most wonderful. Special thanks to the "Russian House in Spain" for the thematic tour of cat lovers and creativity : )

Rested girls in this hotel at the end of August, celebrated my birthday - 30 years!! ! This is certainly one of my best adventures and the lion's share of this is the cool hotel "Marsol"! Of the pluses: - of course, the location: the proximity of the beach replaced the absence of a balcony for us in the evenings, where you can sit and drink sangria; - free champagne in the morning: it's just SUPER!! ! so for breakfast we came to the opening of the restaurant, and left - when it closed))); - a chic restaurant overlooking the sea and a rather varied and tasty menu, especially when compared with other hotels, the lack of cameras and strict supervision allowed us to take a bit of food, boutiques and fruits with us; ) (don't think, we just often went to hiking); - free good sauna; - the proximity of the center, clubs, shops, bus station, pier for sightseeing ships, the central square near the city hall, etc. … More ▾ Rested girls in this hotel at the end of August, celebrated my birthday - 30 years!! ! Of the minuses: - rooftop pool: and I understand that the sea is nearby, and it’s probably better not to do it on the roof, but when the weather was bad, it rained and it was cold, after heating in the sauna, I didn’t want to dive into this puddle, depth - 1 m!! ! - stench at the reception: I don't know what their problem is, but trying to kill some unpleasant smell, they use a large amount of disgusting air freshener, HORRIBLE! ; - view from the window of the room on the wall of a neighboring building: but who is to blame for us that we did not want to pay extra for rooms with balconies and sea views, right? ))) - bell ringing from the city hall - every hour, and from the church - every 15 minutes, for everyone))) - and the most important drawback: I don’t know how it is in other hotels, but, dear staff of the Marsol hotel, you there is all the data of the guests' passports, well, is it really so difficult to please a client on his birthday?!! ! let them even bring that bottle of champagne to the room, which we will drink for free in the restaurant at breakfast !! ! But the client will shine with happiness, and, perhaps, will leave a tip more than a symbolic gift from the hotel costs, and will definitely recommend this hotel despite some shortcomings, and will return to you with a lot of friends, and maybe even start a tradition for everyone celebrating your birthday for a year!

In general, I liked the hotel, clean, there are no complaints about cleaning; at the reception - Russian guy Maxim, very friendly. We rented a safe - 20 euros. The food in the hotel restaurant is edible, but a little tastier than Egyptian food and quickly gets boring. We took half board, which we quickly regretted, since in the restaurants in the area the food is much tastier and more varied (the main thing is not to run into fast food). The average bill for two (with wine) is 25 euros. Everything is fresh, prepared in front of you, the portions are gigantic. Just do not forget about the siesta, many close at 1 pm, you will be left without dinner in the restaurant you like... We recommend the Spanish restaurant LAPARILLA and the Chinese SHANGHAI (everything in it is modest and even poor, but VERY tasty). Both establishments are located in nearby lanes.
By the way, almost none of the staff knows English, even at a primitive level, keep in mind. We recommend stocking up with a translator program in your smartphone...
The beach is clean, despite the large number of tourists and the lack of ashtrays: apparently, the sand is sieved daily. The beach is said to have been awarded the Blue Flag. Sun lounger rental - 5 euros. Bought an umbrella. In the evenings, artists work along the coast. You will not regret if you take a walk to the observation deck (two kilometers along the coast).
From trips: I liked the fortress in Tossa (neighboring town, half an hour on a boat). In Girona, in my opinion, there is nothing to see, they walked in the heat, took pictures of empty streets (siesta). We looked at the Dali Museum: we liked the hall of jewels the most, but you have to look at the paintings for a long time, this is art for an amateur. We also recommend a trip to Mount Montserrat: adrenaline on the serpentine, indescribable beauty. To the statue of the Black Madonna, the queue is an hour and a half. THEREFORE: in no case do not go there with a local excursion! You will not have time to really see anything; do not repeat our mistake! For 40 euros, you will simply be taken by bus, and then you will run headlong after the guide. You only need to go by yourself, it is cheaper, and you will manage your time yourself.
Another mistake of ours: to go to Barcelona for one day. We recommend that you travel for at least two or even three days, having previously booked an apartment or a room in a hostel. Then there will be time for shopping, and for the Sagrada Familia, and other creations of Gaudí .
Summary: I liked the trip very much, but, having visited the “real” Europe for the first time (before that, there were Egypt and Greece), we made three conclusions for ourselves:
1. You should not take half board, you need to have lunch and dinner at local restaurants, it is tastier, more varied, and quite affordable.
2. You should not go with organized excursions: this is running after a guide, two hours to inspect the place and running back. So either by car or by bus, but by yourself.
3. It is not necessary to settle on the first line and not necessarily in a hotel (this, again, is not Egypt). It will be cheaper a little in the depths of the town, it can be either an apartment or a hostel, and the road to the beach will take an extra 5 minutes.
Good luck to all!! !

Meals: we took Breakfast + Dinner, please note that all drinks including water at dinner are paid. The food is very good. I already wrote that I do not like incomprehensible salads and mixtures of incompatible products. So I was glad for the presence of meat, fish, vegetables, fruits were scarcely presented (the beginning of the season, after all), but I did not come for them.
Amazing view from room and restaurant. Each time enjoyed the view of the sea, the absorption of food has never brought so much pleasure. Friendly staff. I would like to mention the women who clean the rooms very conscientiously, the Russian-speaking blonde woman at the reception ( : -)) and, of course, Maxima (also a receptionist). It was disappointing that the hotel indicated on the website information about free parking for hotel guests, but in fact this was not provided. For 12 euros for a day, they placed a rented car in the parking of the "partners" of the hotel. But this did not spoil the rest, as this sea, this country, this food, these people are simply beautiful. Thank you Spain for the warm hug. I will definitely return.

It turned out that we arrived at the hotel at 21:00, lost a lot of time. The most convenient, of course, morning flights. There are no more claims to the tour operator. Everything was up to par!
This is just a chic place and a chic country to relax!
First, about the hotel: we stayed at the Marsol Hotel, 4 stars. The hotel is generally good. Of the pluses, this is the best location (in the city center, right next to the sea). Those. there are very few hotels located right by the sea. Sea across the road. The obvious disadvantages are the lack of balconies and sea views in most rooms. Only 20 rooms look at the sea and with balconies (as I understand it, superior comfort), and everyone with standard reservations is accommodated in rooms overlooking the wall and a narrow street. And without a balcony it's bad and uncomfortable! It is worth considering this factor when booking. Also, the hotel has no territory at all, it's just a building. There is a cozy swimming pool on the roof. The restaurant is also in the building, with large windows, on the 2nd floor. Those. do not sit on the terrace either. I also didn't like that the sheets were changed once in a week. But otherwise everything is fine, the staff is friendly, there is a Russian boy at the Reception. Food: breakfast is almost always the same, but what is most interesting, they pour champagne! A very nice addition  For dinner: the choice is small, but in principle everything is delicious, there is always ice cream and fruit. The hotel, I would say, Russian-speaking, most of the guests were Russian! Everywhere, in the elevator, in the restaurant... There are a lot of compatriots (they are generally full in Lloret). In general, the impression of the hotel is good.
Now about the place of rest: I liked it very much! Gorgeous, wide beach, clear sea. Almost immediately the depth, with children is not very convenient. The beach is located, as it were, in a bay, along the edges - rocks with paved paths. Walking there is just super, there is a very beautiful castle, a visiting card of Lloret. The views are awesome, rocks, sea, greenery, you must definitely take a walk in one direction and in the second. The city itself is a hotbed of tourism. In August - there were crowds of people everywhere, on the streets, on the beach, day and night. If you like it quieter, it's better not to go here. Active, not falling asleep town And of course, this is a city of discos! A LOT of clubs, party youth, flyers are handed out to girls on the street, people are walking! I advise everyone to cafes on the beach - they pour cocktails of 1l and 2l! So big, beautiful and delicious! Only in the evening it was not overcrowded, we walked during the day.
An extensive excursion program is also offered. Of course you need to go to Barcelona! Unfortunately, Tez tour does not offer such an excursion - first sightseeing of Barcelona, free time and Dancing Fountains. There is only free time + Fotans, just an overview, and Barcelona sports + shopping. It is very uncomfortable! We took free time + fountains, walked around the city for 5 hours, took the subway to the Sagrada Familia. The Gothic Quarter, La Rambla Boulevard, the Cathedral, Plaza Catalunya, the Port… Very interesting, unusual and beautiful, the Middle Ages are intertwined with the buildings of the 19th century. And with modern skyscrapers! Of course, we did not manage to do everything. For good, you need to devote the whole day only to Barcelona, and better not just one! There is a very convenient Bus-tourist bus, as in all major European cities. And of course, the fountain show in the Plaza de Españ a! There are also crowds of people, but awesomely beautiful, lighting, music, water... Impressed! From Barcelona it is impossible to get to your hotel after 20:00, so the only option is to book an excursion.
We also went on an excursion - The World of Salvador Dali. Very informative and interesting! But my friends advised me to go on a Night Dali tour - a visit to the museum at 21:00 with evening illumination. Unfortunately, we didn't get the schedule. This is a very unusual museum, such art seems like nonsense to someone (sometimes it seemed to me too), but nevertheless, taking a walk there, trying to unravel, seeing something of your own in the picture is exciting. Then we were taken to the castle of his Russian wife Gala, a beautiful place. And finally, the tasting! 30 barrels of wine and 10 types of liqueurs are no joke Everyone rolls out drunk from there And, of course, you can buy something home.
And finally, we went to the Flamenco show! It was just awesome! First they serve a delicious dinner, wine and champagne flow like water. And then the show itself. Performs tenor, guitarist, and the dancers themselves. The soloist beats the shot - something unforgettable. Beautiful music, lighting, costumes… I liked it very much! The mood was the best!
A week was not enough, there is still so much to go and see... Boat cruises, Port Aventura, climb around Barcelona, visit the botanical gardens... I hope to return to Spain again and I advise everyone to stay in this sunny country
