If you are told that during an active holiday, the place and conditions for living do not matter, do not believe it. Lie! Well, let's start from the very beginning. When you check in, there is no right to choose a room (even with a surcharge! ), And I, as a birthday girl, to be honest, counted on a small exception. The rooms in the hotel are far from equal, so for starters, everyone is settled in the worst of them, hoping that you will not kick. Here's a description of the original option: the balcony door opens into a cramped courtyard-well, opposite five meters away, the doors to your neighbors' rooms. The room is small, dark, damp as there is NO EXHAUST VENTILATION in the BATHROOM!!! . The only pluses are that it is constantly cool and quiet, unless eternally drunk German teenagers are settled nearby. Whoever is not satisfied with this situation, immediately sign up at the reception in the queue for relocation. We moved to a room with a sea view on the 5th day, if we got there right away, this review would not be so negative. What can I say: this room is spacious, there is a balcony with a table and chairs, exhaust ventilation in the bathroom and even a bidet! But still there are no hooks, there is nowhere to dry clothes, so the rope and clothespins will be very useful (but what is the balcony for? ). A safe and a refrigerator are chargeable, 5 euros per day, but we didn’t expect anything else from the “three rubles”, just as we didn’t expect the fact that the refrigerator brought in the evening turned out to be inoperative. The replacement of the device was achieved after a four-fold reminder at the reception. Now about these guys separately: I won’t say that they are unfriendly and hostile towards the Russians, no! It's just their motto: listen to you, understand what they are asked and do nothing. This is a mentality, nothing can defeat it, except that polite perseverance will speed up the process a little, and even that is not a fact that is in your favor. The maids, the staff of the dining room and the bar are here without any complaints, they know their business, they are friendly, they answer a smile with a smile, for such people a tip is not a pity. The food is good, if you wish, you can move dinner or breakfast for lunch (if you have an excursion). Don’t take dry rations, honestly, about nothing, it’s cheaper and tastier to buy in a store. The hotel guide Aranka spent 15 minutes on the introductory briefing and said that for the next 4 days all the excursions we were interested in were sold out. Gentlemen, hey, we came to you to spend our money, so help us with this! I had to take the initiative into our own hands: Blanes went far and wide, walked to the botanical garden and the castle on the mountain, sailed on a boat to Tossa, went to Barcelona on our own . With a beach holiday, it’s also a bummer, but here the tour operator’s fault: there can’t be this very holiday on the Costa Brava, as the water is cold, it often storms and the bottom drops sharply 2 meters from the coast. Those who cannot swim should not enter the water. Do not expect to catch up in the pool: it is small, you cannot swim, and the water is the same temperature as in the sea. And for dessert, about the fabulous departure from the Pimar Hotel: this will not be forgotten soon. . . Check-out from the room here takes place at 11 am and we expected to take a last walk around the city, take a dip in the sea, which (lo and behold! ) didn’t particularly storm for a couple of days and almost warmed up, and dine in a wonderful fish restaurant. But I’m blowing us! Because there wasn’t enough space for our suitcases in the storage room, and we, with a dozen other lucky people, were waiting for our departure to the airport in the hotel lobby. We waited hungry because the pizza machine broke down. . No, the fact that our suitcases did not fit into the cell, in my opinion, is luck, because if we had time to squeeze them in there from early morning, we would not have pulled them back. . . At a timid request to look after the luggage, the guys at the reception phlegmatically shrugged their shoulders and... offered to leave the luggage at the exit of the hotel! Given the fact that all 11 days of rest we were warned that theft is the scourge of Spanish resorts, the offer seemed funny, but not tempting. The fact that the transfer bus that took us to the airport was 40 minutes late is not worth writing in detail. Mentality, They have the same excursions. . . To summarize: our vacation was a success not thanks to, but in spite of, so you can go. And yet, choosing this hotel. . . good luck, right! . .
