Do not believe the description of the rooms overlooking the courtyard. NO YARD!!! ! This well is a closed space. You can reach the neighbor opposite by hand. The acoustics are amazing, just right for an opera house. Even if you speak in a whisper on the balcony, the whole hotel will still hear. Fresh air practically does not get in, and there is nothing to say about the sea breeze, as a result - high humidity.

During the rest there were: traditional dishes, a lot of seafood, always fresh fish (different every day) and grilled meat: beef, pork, chicken. From ready-made meat dishes: duck, rabbit, chicken, beef, pork, fish. Very tasty pizza every day, but with different toppings. Several types of ice cream, a lot of fruits: grapes, peaches, nectarines, pineapple, watermelon, melon, pears, plums. In general, the food here is just super: not even equal to five in the Arab countries.
The sea is right next to the hotel, there are few people on the beach, you take three steps in the water and immediately deep. The beach is very clean. The town itself is great, there is where to go and what to see, to Barcelona by train 1:20 minutes. The train arrives directly in the center at Plaza Catalunya.
Another bonus: we had a late check out of the hotel, at 20:00, and check out from the room at 11:00 on the same day. After check out, they gave us the key to the luggage room, where we left our suitcase and went to the beach. After a whole day on the beach and of course before the flight, I wanted to take a shower. At the reception, they gave me the key to the shower room and a clean large towel for the shower (very nice, because we are actually not guests of the hotel anymore : )).
As newlyweds, a gift from the hotel awaited us in the room: a basket of fruit and a bottle of champagne.
The hotel is excellent. We travel a lot and this is one of the best, the quality is much higher than the cost of the tour : )

Baking is clearly purchased - a couple of types of tart. I ate the same one in a restaurant in the city, for a lot of money). Drinks for breakfast. For dinner for 2 Euro - tea, coffee, water and for 8-11 Euro - a variety of wine.
Beach across the road. Sand, but large. There are few people. Strong wind. The sea was super cold, this was the first time in my travels. Few bathed.

The weather was good, very warm, it rained one day, but the sea was cold and always stormy. Therefore, if you only need a beach holiday, at the end of September there is nothing to do on the Costa Brava. But for lovers of outdoor activities, collectors of new experiences, Catalonia is undoubtedly one of the most interesting corners of Europe.

The hotel guide Aranka spent 15 minutes on the introductory briefing and said that for the next 4 days all the excursions we were interested in were sold out. I had to take the initiative into our own hands: Blanes went far and wide, walked to the botanical garden and the castle on the mountain, sailed on a boat to Tossa, went to Barcelona on our own . With a beach holiday, it’s also a bummer, but here the tour operator’s fault: there can’t be this very holiday on the Costa Brava, as the water is cold, it often storms and the bottom drops sharply 2 meters from the coast. Those who cannot swim should not enter the water. Do not expect to catch up in the pool: it is small, you cannot swim, and the water is the same temperature as in the sea. But I’m blowing us! Because there wasn’t enough space for our suitcases in the storage room, and we, with a dozen other lucky people, were waiting for our departure to the airport in the hotel lobby. We waited hungry because the pizza machine broke down. . No, the fact that our suitcases did not fit into the cell, in my opinion, is luck, because if we had time to squeeze them in there from early morning, we would not have pulled them back. . . At a timid request to look after the luggage, the guys at the reception phlegmatically shrugged their shoulders and... offered to leave the luggage at the exit of the hotel! Given the fact that all 11 days of rest we were warned that theft is the scourge of Spanish resorts, the offer seemed funny, but not tempting. The fact that the transfer bus that took us to the airport was 40 minutes late is not worth writing in detail. Mentality, They have the same excursions. . . To summarize: our vacation was a success not thanks to, but in spite of, so you can go. And yet, choosing this hotel. . . good luck, right! . .
