Were in Spain for the first time. Hotel right by the sea on the waterfront. In general, I really liked the hotel. The room was small: built-in wardrobe, TV, safe, hairdryer, balcony, normal bathroom. There is no refrigerator. Everything, of course, is not new, but in good condition. Very few balconies overlook the sea and the promenade. The hotel itself is a 6-storey building - an empty box. And we lived in a room with a view of the opposite rooms from the window. It's a little unpleasant, you can't see when the sun rises. Very good audibility in the hotel next door. The service at the hotel is good, everyone is welcome and very polite. Germans, Spaniards and Dutch have a lot of rest. The Germans and Spaniards are very noisy. At the reception, only one girl speaks Russian, so it is desirable to know some English or German. There is a restaurant and a bar where there is an entertainment show or dancing in the evening. In general, all the entertainment of the hotel for the elderly.
Pimar in Blanes is the most musical hotel and in the evenings on the waterfront people always gathered to watch and listen to the music of our hotel. Hotels do not have their own territory, especially those on the waterfront, so a small pool is on the roof. What was good was the sea right next to the hotel. There is another 4 * Horitzo hotel nearby, but there are very few people and there has never been even music. In the evening, all locals and vacationers from all hotels came for a walk on the waterfront, it is very long. The same picture on the beach. The beach - municipal - very clean, large, always a lot of free space. Sunbeds and umbrellas are paid for 5 euros, there is a shower on the beach. The sea is clear, hanging a blue flag, often wavy and a little cool, however, there were jellyfish that complain. The beach often blows a breeze, which is good in the heat. The weather was great all the time, although we had a rest in the second half of September.
Meals in the restaurant for a huge five!

The diversity was constant. Lots of vegetables, fruits, meat, dinner was always fish, often seafood, several types of ice cream, delicious pastries. We had breakfast and dinner, and that's enough, especially if you're going on a tour. Drinks for dinner are paid. Buy a bottle of wine and what is not drunk is reserved for you and served the next day. The restaurant is small. But the queue for breakfast is not long and passes very quickly, and for dinner the table is already fixed for you and it is served.
Drinks were bought in local supermarkets. Shops on the first line by the sea - more expensive, as everywhere. But if you dig a little deeper into the town, they are cheaper in supermarkets, including a variety of Spanish wines.
On Mondays, a bazaar arrives in Blanes, open until 13-14. It is located on the waterfront, closer to the marina.
And on the parallel street at this time there is a grocery market.
But fruit is still cheaper to buy in supermarkets. The food market is open every day, I can't say for sure.
They went everywhere on excursions by themselves. At first it was a little scary, because we don't know much English. But it turned out to be easy. Even without knowing the language, there are no problems with orientation, everything is signed in English and there are pointers everywhere. Which is a bit awkward to walk to the train station in 30 minutes. A sightseeing tour of Barcelona is better to spend on Tourist Bass, while buying tickets with the railway. It will be cheaper, that is, save on rail travel back and forth. Twice we went to Barcelona (went to the Bacteria market, walked around the city, visited the Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, fountains), visited Figueros (Dali Theater-Museum) and Girona, and went to Montserrat (mountain monastery).
The monastery is located in the picturesque mountains, which went by cable car even higher in the mountains.
We visited the church, where the boys' choir performed, the statue of the "Black Virgin" - the national shrine of Catalonia. According to legend, it is considered miraculous, so pilgrims go to it with their prayers. It is better to go on excursions yourself, more time to see everything, rather than go and collect all the tourists in hotels.
However, it may look better to stay first for a few days in Barcelona, and then go to the coast.
The trip to Spain left a very good impression. I would like to visit Spain more than once.
