For Calella, it’s a good hotel, the sea is nearby, away from the railway, you can’t hear it, the main facade overlooks the N2 highway, but there are few cars on this section, the opposite is either to the neighboring hotel (lower floors) or to the sea. We had the 8th floor (the last 9 - there are suites) with a sea view. The hotel was renovated in 2011, everything is clean, fresh. Linen is the same, towels are changed every day, bed every other day. The rooms are large with balconies. The cuisine is excellent, better than in Corfu in 5+, only the choice is small. We took full board, never regretted it, it was a pity to miss dinners. When we had lunch or dinner in other restaurants (from 25 to 60 euros for two with wine), it was always worse. For 21 days, lunches and dinners have never been repeated. Only breakfasts, as everywhere in Spain, are average scall. Cons: no hair dryer, Russian and English TV channels, air conditioning paid 4 euros per day (did not use), safe is paid, I don’t know how much it costs. Rest for 5 even taking into account that Calella is a vacation spot for German teenagers who yell all night long in unison.
