We traveled together with my daughter 15 years old on fortune 2 * from 13.07. to 23.07. 11. For the first time in Spain with Natalie Tours, we were worried about where we would end up. Settled in the hotel Catalonia 3 * in Calella. Almost everyone loved it! The location is convenient, sea view / picturesque mountain view, refrigerator, TV, air conditioning in the room, a large balcony with a table and chairs overlooking the mountain. We took breakfast and dinner, more than enough to not sit with a lunch tied to the hotel, the food is very varied: meat, seafood, chicken, fish, vegetables, paella, ice cream and fruits (nectarines, peaches, watermelon, melon, plums, cherry plum, tangerines, bananas, apples, pears), etc. Drinks at dinner are paid. Not far from the sea, it's a pleasure to walk, the sea is clean, the beach is beautiful, sunbeds and umbrellas for 3.5 euros. On the 10th floor there is an observation deck with a swimming pool and sun loungers from it a beautiful view of the sea! Cleaned every day, but the floors are not washed. For 10 days we danced 2 times in a flamenco bar and once there was a disco, the wine in the bar is inexpensive but good. Of the minuses: the hotel guide from Natalie Pole Thomas - a boor sits at the Cactus Hotel, at the reception they do not know Russian, but they understand English and always come to the rescue. German teenagers are also resting in the hotel, yelling all night and disturbing sleep, we complained, they were scolded, but it didn’t last long. We went to Barcelona by train, we moved there by metro, we looked at everything in a day. We took 3 excursions from Natalie Tours: Port Aventura (daughter is delighted! ), Girona and the Dali Museum on the way back, wine tasting, sausages, cheese, and Montserrat (there was nothing to do there). Not far away is a street with shops, there are ridiculous prices for both food and things, everything is much cheaper than we didn’t even plan to shop, but we couldn’t resist. The cafe prices are about the same as ours. The seafood is worth a try, very fresh and tasty. It is very convenient to pay with a visa card, they take it almost everywhere. The Internet in the hotel is expensive and stupid, not far from McDonald's there is free, if you have your laptop with you, we found an Internet cafe nearby there, in my opinion, 0.5 euros for 10 minutes. In general, they were very satisfied with the rest, besides paying for the ticket at a minimum.
