It just so happened that I had to rest in the Terramar 3 * hotel in the city of Calella (or Calella in another way). Initially I wanted to go to another hotel, but the order was not confirmed. I had to urgently look for a replacement. . . In short, Terramar. I will say right away: the hotel is so-so. . . When I ordered it, there were no thoughts that there might not be an air conditioner in the three-ruble note. Therefore, I missed this little fad in the description of this hotel. . . and later regretted it many times! I don't really like to sleep under the air conditioner, but in general the climate is rather hot there and this time it was a bit tight without air conditioning. My room overlooked a busy street. At night, sleeping with the door to the balcony open is simply not possible, because from about midnight to two or three in the morning, drunken hordes of German youths start screaming, singing along the street past this hotel, falling asleep is simply not realistic. Moreover, the police do not react to this in any way, it is simply not there! You close the door - the noise from the street is almost not heard, but after an hour there is simply nothing to breathe in the room. But even if there were air conditioners, it is not a fact that you will rest easy - the audibility in the rooms is such that sometimes it just seems that the walls in this hotel are made of paper. The same German youths who did not go to drink in nightclubs, but preferred to drink on the balconies of hotel rooms, will not let you get bored either! In addition, in the morning, at seven o'clock, the Spaniards are very fond of sweeping garbage with cars, throwing some pieces of iron on the pavement, in short, they do not care about vacationers in hotels. And after such a rest in the morning you get up as if crushed by a skating rink - welcome to the beach and on excursions. I tried to change the number to an arc, but at my modest request I received a refusal at the reception from the Russian Anya in the form of the phrase: "All the rooms for the next two weeks are booked, and indeed they are all the same! " And his eyes are kind, kind, like Lenin's. Also upset the elevator in the hotel. It is only one, it can accommodate a maximum of three people (if Germans, then two), and it is very, very slow, and this is for 240 rooms ! ! Either wait ten minutes for the elevator, or sit on the sixth floor on foot! There is a separate song about the cleaning of the rooms: they are cleaned without enthusiasm, in my opinion the bed linen has never been changed at all, they just fold it neatly and that's it, towels can simply be forgotten to be hung in place after cleaning. True, we must pay tribute to the staff - nothing has ever disappeared from the room. Water from the tap flows in a thin, warm stream. A shower cubicle, or rather a shower trough 0.5m by 0.5m, when you try to wash, the entire floor in the bathroom is filled with water. There is a lot to be said about the restaurant as well. First of all, it clearly does not correspond to the size of the hotel, although this is probably the scourge of all local hotels. In fact, there were always queues before entering it. Stop and wait until someone stuffs their stomach and vacates the table. Very often there were not enough spoons, then some dishes. The buffet menu itself is quite monotonous and rustic: they didn’t even always make an omelet for breakfast. Of the fruits, they mainly gave oranges and apples, a couple of times they gave plums and inedible peaches. . . And it's in the middle of summer! ! (In Kalella, in general, he strained with fruit. In extreme cases, any of the most seedy Moscow markets will give a hundred points to the fruit shops of Kalella). When I left early for excursions, I ordered a “picnic” for myself 2 times instead of breakfast, but didn’t order the third time: they put two pieces of disgusting gray bread, processed cheese, a thin piece of inedible sausage, an apple and the same orange. . . - "Eat on health!! "... if you can swallow it! But the manager of the hotel restaurant, such a plump little Spaniard (funny and similar to Danny DeVito) always walked around with such a proud air, as if he were the President of America. . . And there are so many other hotels around. . . much better and for less money. . . But Spain itself is a fabulous country: lying on the beach, swimming in the sea, going on excursions, driving along wonderful roads, tasting sangria, you begin to understand that no hotel can spoil the impressions of this wonderful country!
